I had run into some Fast Illusionist Morlu Incinerators (the teleporting assholes in Act-IV that keep casting meteor)... and hooooly shit it was raining meteors. I couldn't do anything but run. From the sheer amount of Meteors flying everywhere, I had to assume that each clone was casting it... but I could be wrong. Either way, it was stupid.

Yes each clone can mimic any of the abilities a mob has in its pool, and Incinerators are the fucking worst mobs to have Illusionist on because of that exact reason, you can't do shit against it but run and hope you find a place to zone them, or de-aggro them some how.

Anyone have some advice on how to gear up wizard? I am aware that I should be piling on int, crit rate, crit damage and attack speed, but I don't really know the finer points; I'm not really sure how I should prioritize more "wizardly" item stats to maximize the benefit I'm getting out of a piece. E.G. How helpful is + arcane power on crit for a source compared to + damage / int / what have you?

Honestly stats in D3 are pretty much no brainers. Are you regularly using a build that keeps running out of arcane power? If so, you might wanna get +arcane power on crit on your gear. Personally, my wiz uses no skills that need a lot of arcane power (aka I'm not running blizzard) so I have no use for it, but if you're using arcane orb or bliz or something you might wanna.

+int is going to be the best for stacking damage past normal mode, I stack a lot of +vit on my armor too because I like to use spectral blade as my sig spell which puts me in melee range with mobs quite a lot. If you do glass cannon type - nothing but kiting and shooting from a distance, you will want to put more int and +crit dmg/chance than vit on your gear, and life on hit might not be quite as important to a nonstop kiter. It really all just depends on your playstyle and your normal build. Consider what it is you like to use and build towards that.

Aye. I just wasn't sure if people felt the arcane on crit was helpful vs. just focusing on getting more damage; I know it's optimal to have both if possible, but not necessarily realistic. owo) Thanks for the information.

Do some dungeons really only spawn on certain difficulties or higher? I was trying forever to get the Tunnels of the Rockworm to spawn on Nightmare but could only get Hurax or that little girl... now 30+ tries in Hell and still no dice. I haven't even seen the other alleged alternate interior of Deserted Cellar. Is this shit just ultra rare or Inferno onry?

Pretty sure i ran into the dungeon for the first time in Nightmare, Duoing with my brother.

Turns out I'm just retarded and wasn't aware that Deserted Cellar had two spawn points... The northern spawn can only be the little girl merchant or Hurax while the southern spawn is the insects or the unique Rockworm/entrance.

What a bunch of bull... at least constantly restarting my game at that location gives you immediate access to 2-3 elite packs every single time... however they are in rather close proximity to each other and I did end up fighting all 2-3 simultaneously pretty often. That sucked.

Alright so my laptop should be enough to play diablo without much problems and with minimal settings, and it worked fine at launch, however after the first patches my FPS drops considerably with 4 people on screen, (I leveled my barb pretty much on random games at launch without issues).
So the question would be if someone else experiences this or if you have any kind of patch / fix / idea on how to solve the really low FPS problem.

I've always had FPS issues with D3 on a system that should never have FPS issues with it. (Core i7 2600k @ 4.8ghz, 16GB DDR3-1600, Radeon HD 7970). I think there's some optimization issues or something.

*edit* I should clarify. My FPS is fine almost all the time. But it randomly dives, for no apparent reason.

I have almost an opposite problem.

My FPS is never all that noticeably bad... but it's not perfect. On a machine that can run FFXIV on almost max'd out settings, this shouldn't be. However, I play in fullscreen mode and I noticed that every time I tab back to the game after minimizing it to use my browser or something, the FPS looks fucking beautiful... for a good 10 seconds. Then it goes back to looking 'ok.'

What the hell could be causing that? I want it to look beautiful all the time at my max settings.

Does Life on Hit proc for Monk on abilities like Sweeping Wind for each monster it hits or is it just for your main attacks and single target?

Whats the highest Attack speed a Quiver can get?

Friend is swearing he had one(Rare) with 20~25%, I know they cap at 15 on Yellows, and 20 on a Certain Legendary... Can they go higher?

Second, Magic Find seems to cap on 18% on Quivers, Is this right?

Life on hit will proc on anything you hit, but sweeping wind doesn't have a good modifier so using it on a single enemy is kind of poot.

Attack speed won't get that high on a rare quiver unless it was a glitched item for some reason. I don't see any quivers with 19 or higher MF on the AH, so yeah I assume that is the cap.

So I got hacked now. Luckily my character is so lame they didn't take any gear and I only had 180k gold. Has it been figured out how people are doing this? Obviously I'll be getting an authenticator but are there any free virus programs that I could scan my computer with?

The way i understood how they got a few of them was.. getting your information from other Diablo Fansites. So if you use the same Password for your Account as you do for popular Diablo sites, or you're just a 1-2 Password kinda guy, Thats probably where it started.

Or it could be something different ;o

I used to have flawless FPS until 1.02 or so. Then it just turned to shit. Haven't played 1.03 at all though.

Well the person is changing my password and even my Yahoo mail password. I'm not too interested in playing the game anymore but can they get CC info etc through Blizzard? I have reset most all passwords and notified blizzard, really just worried if any more information can be obtained with Yahoo or Blizzard account.

If I were to say cash out and wait for a later update, would you feel real money or gold would be best to hang onto? Items I see losing value as new gear comes out and gold as is plummets in value so leaning to real money, but thought I would ask for some opinions. Thanks!
