Not much probably, no CC or CD. I'd probably just salvage it even in HC. :/
Could be an ok monk ring so you may want to wait until some monk players respond.

Definitely salvage.
dang it! i was hoping it's a good ring lol. Thank you.
i'd put on follower XD
Already back into a "this game sucks" funk. Last 20 legendaries have been brimstone fodder. Amulet with 95% Crit Dmg / 200+ STR / 200+ VIT is the best thing I've found in the past two weeks.
Play some self-found? Play some HC? Play some self-found hc? (The game does suck.)
Gonna wait it out~
Has there been any timeline for the expansion for D3? I had such high hopes, but I think i'm stuck waiting for the expansion with fixes to get back into it.
nothing explicitly stated, no. I think may/june/july-ish 2014 is a fair guess; let's hope not too much later. I'd be disappointed to see it somehow fall to 2015 or beyond, but I've at least accepted that the truly significant changes are not within the next 8 months or so.
When it comes to weapons, how much does damage +10% affect the damage skills do? I'm still not sure how all those calculations work if Cluster Arrow does like 1000% weapon dmg what is that 1000% of. That and if dual wielding bows does it just use MH?
That particular affix affects the weapon itself, but it doesn't seem as straightforward as I initially tried to calculate before they fixed it working with different element damage mods. Basically, you can't add the min/max damage of both base/mod and add 10% of that before multiplying ASPD to get the DPS. Either way, that final number is what gets multiplied against main stat and then skill mod, like CA:LFB's 770%. Looking at it another way, a good damage% mod on a high level weapon would be like putting a ruby into it, probably somewhere in the 150 damage range.
Well like I have a Nat's bow, without dmg it's like 2535ish, with dmg+10% it's like 2788. So it seems like a pretty substantial amount, but resource reduction allows me to machine gun cluster arrows more so it's a hard choice.
You want to keep the %Damage on a Nat's Slayer. The weapon basically drops with the perfect Main-Hand rolls already. The only thing you ever need to reroll on it is to up it's damage, or possibly put Disc on it if it didn't roll with it already. 2788 sounds like yours already rolled near perfect on damage range and %, so I would look at maxing the Dex or Disc if they aren't already rolled highly. If they are high, then you don't need to roll anything at all.
what are your guys' thoughts on 2handed vs dual wield vs shield for Barbarian?
This is what I'm doing currently, but I haven't tested it in Torment yet. In theory, it should work quite well because nothing really depends on attack speed, though I have noticed that Seismic Slam has a minor attack speed component to it. It will work a LOT better, I think, if/when I get Might of the Earth 4-piece.
I wish you could either transmog more freely or that there were better polearms available. I LOVE the way Standoff looks, but none of the legendary polearms fit the final build I have in mind. Except possibly a well-rolled Heart Slaughter.
An offhand offers up;
+130% Crit hit damage.
additional stat benefits that may be on the weapon(STR,VIT,Attack Speed, LoH)
There really is nothing that is going to top dual weild right now, you end up sacrificing too much for what ends up being like +300-500DPS on a weapon which is eclipsed by all the other benefits of your offhand slot.
it depends on your options, in lightning builds a krider is invaluable, and in sentry builds a big fat 2h xbow is no joke
that's great but barbarians can't use bows or crossbows. or do sentry builds.
Since you're not using Bloodthirst, your build would make great use of Fury of the Vanquished Peak, one of the few 2H weapons worth using. Once you get your Might of the Earth Gear, I feel that 2H vs DW is more about playstyle. I run with a Schaefers Hammer (cause I'm crazy and won't go fire) and get better clear times than I do with my TF/Odyn dual wield.
