I've kinda lost interest in Diablo 3 for now. The gold AH splitting the item pools was definitely one of the factors in that Kisada.

also know you guys are on the front end of a very front-loaded spike of RMAH activity; let's hope in the longer run the split between the two currencies is less drastic

cause also know you're not alone in wanting to be able to buy nice items with self-acquired gold from ground and from selling


BUUUT. you can farm items/gold now, RMAH sell it for blizz bux. now you have to shop with that if the segmentation from 2 AH currencies remains large and substantial

Whenever 1.3 comes out it's not going to matter though, because the AH shouldn't be the main means of progression. Just farm like mad and craft to fill out any slots you can't get any luck on.

Ideally gold would be set at a certain price per dollar, and you could choose whether to spend cash or gold on items rather than have 2 separate AH's. At least, that's what I would want.

Well, some of the lower level legendaries are pretty good. String of Ears is 52 for example.
