Yep after reading those posts on there it looks like Sarkoth botting is all the rage and AH bots trying to snipe under a 100k legendary's to turn into brimstones. I have a friend that told me his buddy has been botting Sarkoth for like a month straight and has over several billion gold.

Yeah it is definately killing any ability to make money or gold. I can't even sell salvage material for shit now.

jesus fuck. shit like this makes me really fuckin sad. no small wonder now how people are bidding 50+ million on items on bnet forums like they're pennies, while i'm staring at my 10/10 AH praying for something to sell.

i'm sure odon remembers, but back on our ffxi server there was a time when prices started getting ridiculous because of RMT's and some gil exploit. but SE, for all their incompetence, figured out a way to destroy the accounts/gil and normalize the economy. given blizz that commenced usage of the RMAH while all this shit goes sure makes it seem like they don't really care and i doubt they're gonna do anything about it.

The sad thing is the guy told my friend he's been botting, friend reported him the day after almost a month ago and not a damn thing has happened. Right now as it stands, I'll NEVER be able to afford the stuff I need. If I don't find it myself then I'm fucked up shits creek without a paddle.

Yeah I remember that, but SE didn't have their hands in the pockets of the people doing this :/

There really isn't any hope to getting any decently priced upgrades off the AH directly because of this. It's asinine.

Killed many ghoms for people, crafted many emeralds, found some items between 5-20m. others worth 250k each. all adds up

Inferno Ghom turns the whole arena into a fart cloud of death if your gear isn't up to snuff.

Ghom is relatively hard to kill compared to other bosses. Lots of people get up to him and can't even come close to killing.

Out of curiosity, how much were you charging for the runs? I'd laugh if any barbs in particular were paying much, considering Kripp basically did all of inferno is gear <500K.

Pre patch Ghom was really. Post not so much.
