Thoughts? Have them on the RMAH at the moment, but looking as though they may not sell. I'll just sell em for gold and swap the gold etc. No idea on gold price though.

Went to sell a LOH weapon I got and seen this listed on for sale with a 500k buyout with 1d 12h left, got it asap. Closest I could find to it were weapons selling for 14mil. Maybe I should just farm the AH.

i think now's the time to buy shit for really cheap if you want to invest. blizzard is REALLY fucking slumming it and looks absurdly negligent right now. no word from the CM's for like 2-3 weeks. people are quitting in droves but i think once a new patch comes out there'll be a lot of returning players and a spike in prices.
Weapons are still really dumb, especially if you want to run a tornado WW barb. I wish I could find a 800dps wep with 800LoH, crithit dmg under like 15-40m, lol.
I know how you feel. First time I turned the game on in months and I have no idea what/where/how to farm, if I'm even wearing the right gear etc. Was doing that act3 spot where the champs couldn't hit you, but with how little gold I have and the cost of repairs I'm pretty lost.
Cat's Traps sold for 30.00$ before I had a chance to get it down. I think it would have been worth more in gold. Boots not so lucky for sell though.
I was doing fairly decent pickups in Hell games doing A3 Azmo runs from Siegebreaker with full gold find on. Something like 2-300k a run and it takes about 45 minutes to do bar you get the dreaded packs that are reflect/mortar/extra health. With full NV I just pick rares which will net anywhere from 50-100k more depending on how often I hit. Some of the items aren't that great but occasionally you can pick up a lvl 50-55 rare with decent stats that will net decent on the AH. I sold a bow and a pair of gloves yesterday that were decent for that range but not quite good enough post 58~ for 500k. A couple of legendary items dropped for me as well and (usually) they don't sell for much unless they're near perfects. Cindercoats and Angelhairbraids are fairly common and net an extra 100k or so.
I had to basically zombie my way through A2 Inferno and once I hit A3 with my DH (glass with 70k/SS) I started to turn a bit of profit. I die a lot though it seems and someone had mentioned before A1 is okay till you can upgrade. Right now i'm trying to build my resists a bit and purchase a new bow. Right now I have a decent 800dps rare with some gnarly mods but anything over 900dps is running at close to 5 mil which I don't have after upgrading my other slots.
I suppose it's just all about the grind and finding that one item that can net you millions. Some have all the luck but sometimes it's quite the pain in the ass to be waiting for something to happen.
what you guys want to be doing since you're both DH's (boyiee, nelphite, or whoever else needs help) is cydaea/azmodan runs, or if you can't kill cydaea, just azmodan runs.
if i'm doing just cydaea > azmodan i start from the 2nd heart quest, check the immediate waypoint in keep 1, bail if there's nothing right in front of me, hunt for the guaranteed pack in keep 3, then head to tower of the cursed and kill all the way to azmodan. i'd recommend this for people with average to ok gear because hunting for more packs outside of that tower is too inefficient. your goal should be to do this run in 10-15 minutes minus the pre-packs in the keep.
if you can't kill cydaea (and it can be hard depending on your dmg and tankability) then just start from the kill azmodan quest. she can be a pain because the spiders are a lot faster and more random, so i wasn't going after her till i could burn her down right from the start.
my typical run includes the other tower (the one with phase beats and soul lashers) though lately i've added fields of slaughter and a full clear of keep 2/3. i used to never do them because it's just not efficient. however, it's too monotonous running just the two towers and nothing else. if you can't effectively handle phase beasts and lashers then i suggest you stay away until you can.
once you get the farming route down into a comfortable state you should be able to churn out some decent items and cash.
for those who don't have a build i recommend doing something like this:
yeah the guy has a lot of damage but a cluster arrow/bomb build lets you do a lot more damage than you should be doing. this guy uses gloom instead of smokescreen, which i wouldn't recommend unless you really know what you're doing, so you'd want to be using something along the lines of smoke/bat/prep and either shadow power/gloom (though i use glide) or caltrops. you can use caltrops to help you aim your CB's, but with enough experience they're unnecessary. i personally prefer shadow power because having to time my CB's with smoke on reflect mobs is tedious and requires more concentration than i want to give while i'm farming and watching tv. proper use of smoke lets you forgo the need for caltrops anyway. passives would be steady aim/archery/sharpshooter if you're gonna go with this build.
i'll also keep track of some decent DH gear i'd normally just toss and post it up here in case people need. if you guys wanna post your gear it'll be easier for me to find upgrades as well.
good luck.
Not as good as some of previous gloves but decent.

Dang that's nice. IMO the lower end of the jackpot, but still a jackpot no less.
