So is the legendary drop rate just..pumped up?

I remember reading something about a legendary counter evey 500 elite kills, but no idea where I read it...

I got a legendary and did some more levelling when I checked my kills I had 7009 elite's killed, getting close to 7500 so I guess we will see if I get one to drop then.

1100-1200 DPS bows with no stats are going for less than 100k, so I'd say 500k-1mil. The fact that it's all white damage (i.e. no elemental damage) might be good for +% damage like on Inna's Belt, but you'll need to find a very specific buyer.

It's a Monk ability. 5 seconds of monsters can't step on wherever you placed the effect.

I'm assuming most of the legendaries on the past page or two were found in act 3, but for those of you who have found them, what is your MF at with 5 stacks of valor? Only reason I ask is because I'm currently almost at 13 paragon, and I have yet to receive a single set/legendary drop. Initially, I wasn't bothered by the fact that literally every friend on my f list had got a legendary before 10 paragon, but after spending 40-50+ hours doing farming runs since Tuesday, I'm starting to get a little aggravated by my lack of good drops.

Also, has anyone noticed a big difference in DPS/stat rolls on weapons since that ninja patch on Thursday? The first 2 days after the patch hit, nearly every 61-62 weapon I got had 600+ DPS, and iLvl63 were hit and miss as always. After that emergency maintenance on Thursday, I am lucky to get any 1h over 500dps, and any 2h over 1k (there are multiple threads on the d3 forums confirming the same thing has been noticed by quite a few other players over the fast 2 days).
