I spent the last hour or so playing poker, then went to hike up the hill behind the hut only to get mauled by a tiger. D:
I do like using tigers to clear forts though.

I think getting charged by a shark is my scariest gaming moment of all time, next to the very next event, which I totally won't spoil so that when it happens to you you wont expect it.

Only ways I ever go into the water are

A) I've driven a boat with a mounted gun into the middle of the group of sharks and eliminated them with said mounted gun

or

B) I snipe them from afar with a high powered rifle

Yeah I had to get some shark hides for a craft. Fuck those things. I haven't seen any crocodiles yet but I know I'm gonna flip my shit when I get grabbed by one. Komodos are bad enough. -_-

Crocodiles are the worst thing ever, it's what I was on about earlier. They're the worst kind of surprise buttsecks. They aren't even useful...

Can the playing cards that you pick up as random loot actually be used to cheat as the flavor text on them suggests? i suspect its just vendor trash but that would be really cool if you could actually use them to cheat with a chance at being caught cheating that turns the other poker players hostile against you.

seriously this game is fucking amazing. some of the scenes where vaas "kills" you are just really intense. don't wanna spoil them but they're some of the best scenes in the game. I thought I was just about finished with the game but only 1/2 the map was unconvered, and it looks like i got a whole shit ton left to do still.

Just got the game during that deal, enjoy the hell out of it but game freezes on me once an hour. Have to do a cold boot each time.

See... I didn't actually buy the game. My dad goes out and buys a game basically every time he leaves the house. I'll usually come home from college and he'll have 5-6 new games laying around for any of the consoles. I actually want to buy it on PC moreso after playing it for 10-15 minutes and being unable to do anything because the FPS was so bad. I bet it's a gorgeous game at 60 FPS on some ultra settings.

I'm not over-exaggerating when I say: Far Cry 3 is the prettiest game I've ever played. It's got some pretty amazing fidelity (not the best out there), but what really sells me outside of that is how they've nailed the atmosphere. Regardless of it being a standard tropical island, it has enough variety to keep me from getting bored of my surroundings, and I personally find that impressive.

The fire is the best I've seen in a game, when you use a molotov or flamethrower on something, anything organic around the source fire will start to burn until everything organic connected to the source is in a blaze. That sucks they couldn't lock down a decent frame rate on ps3, it is really beautiful on pc, even with a few bells and whistles turned off.

I agree, I tend to lead pirates into the bushes and burn em all just to see the fire spread. Plus it scares off the random tiger or bear that wants to eat me.
