Unfortunately the patient was contaminated by a virus in the hospital and it got pretty serious really quickly...I did some emergency surgery, but I don't know if it will be enough...in 24 hours we'll see if it pulls through

Basically what happened is the stalk is made out of a wire with this foam puddy stuff that when it dries retains its shape but has no structural integrity. I tested to see if the wire would hold up the head before i put the putty around it (which it did) but apparently the hole expanded when I pulled it out because when I put it back in it wouldn't stay in. Since the putty stuff is weak when I tried to stuff in more of the stalk it started to tear hence the new putty spots. Hopefully it being in deeper than intended combined with super glue will make it all right...
