Farming pieces tonight, I've noticed some things that may make the Chiltara part easy. Basically, pick a point in Act 3 where you can WP to the bridge, duh. On your map, you'll notice the little gray points where the things were for the earlier quest. Pay attention to these as the cave spawn points relate to where these can spawn. Every time I started the level, the first thing I would do is run north and then west. On occasion, if you're lucky the cave will literally be straight north. As you go left, watch your map. If you see one of the gray patches, it's not there. If it looks empty, it's still possible to be an empty spot, but check anyway. Between the north point and the west point, another can spawn in the middle north of those two. As you're going west, you'll be able to see if it's a spot or not. Relative to that point, another one can spawn NE.

The west check is important since if it's not there or possible to be there, I instead go east. East of where you where you first go north, there are an additional 3 more spawn points. One's practically straight east of where the WP actually dumps you, with the rest N or NE of those. You just can't see if the quest thingies spawned there from the WP, so as you run that way, be mindful of the map markings still.

This is still a fucking annoying part, as not only finding the Cavern of Frost random alongside some others, the Chiltara mob on the second floor has no guarantee of being there. I probably found the cave 50+ times before I finally got my gemstone, and I almost accidentally quit the game without realizing I'd killed the mob near the warp stone. Either way, Run Speed is your friend here. I put on the Hot Pursuit talent on my DH and used some 12% boots. Not sure what other classes can uses.

So a friend of a friend whispers me and asks me if I do inferno and if I can give him my Toms of Secrets. Being a level 60, in Inferno when he messaged me, you would probably assume that I do inferno and therefore would need the tomes myself. I reply, "I'm in inferno." And hes like, yeah cause that's where they drop. No shit.

Anyway, he then says "btw I'm selling Hell pony level runs for 50k lifetime entry fee if interested, ya know, to cover the costs of getting the staff." The costs of the staff are recouped in only a couple runs, not to mention the staff isn't that expensive to begin with. It took a lot to hold in "go fuck yourself" but I was nice and said "no thanks, I rather keep getting in for free."

Chiltara was 1/1 for cave of frost, but took be 3 runs before it became cave of frost
