E3 2012 (June 5-7, 2012)

Smart Glass for 360 was pretty neat, and at least they showed more on games, including exclusives. What did Nintendo do? They didn't even show any one playing a game other then a shitty mario party game dressed up with Luigi's mansion. Pikmin was the closest thing to that, but let's be real, after Beyond, Last of Us, Watch Dog, Nintendo got blind sided by how good their competition was this year. Microsoft was just as bad, if not slightly better then Nintendo. I mean cmon...at least they get it, even if they're trying to show off their cool/gimmicky features a little heavy this year.

Nintendo needed to come out of the gate strong, and get us excited for this system. I'm not excited.

Nintendo's wasn't GREAT, or wasn't even good. But it was a LOT better than Microsoft's.

I preferred Microsoft's to Nintendo -- the big thing (imo) that Nintendo had to do was convince us that we need a WiiU, and they did nothing to do that. They needed to show us games that really incorporated the WiiU features and were new. The third game they showed was a rerelease of a game that will have been out for a year by the time it reaches WiiU.

They just said there's a surprise game that wasn't shown.. Can't see it being that big, but we'll see I guess..

I don't think Sony won the show, more or less inherited it due to the deaths of the others. It really was a poor showing by all accounts. Other than Beyond, nothing was both new and exciting. Still liked the Ubisoft conference quite a bit.
