I like having maps/inventory but a lot of the other stuff they are doing just seems redundant.

I can pretty much bet most third party games would just do the bare minimum after the system actually launches. I hope so anyways.

I don't know if I like the whole integrated screen into everything. Seems like it could be more of a distraction/pita to use/learn than anything else. A lot of the things they are doing with the second screen seems pointless. I like having maps/inventory but a lot of the other stuff they are doing just seems redundant.

EXACTLY. I was hopeful that they'd unveil some awesome creative concepts or someshit(since there have been some pretty creative IP's at E3 so far), but this shit is pure gimmick at this point.

I dunno. I imagine the WiiU controller as an unobtrusive addition that adds to gameplay. Maybe not necessary, but makes it better. The Arkham version is a great example.. if the game didn't come out a year earlier..
