I wish you would quote me so I know the "you" is directed at me
and no, not fairness, just perhaps something I would do in that position, as well as going on past practice in terms of how many times I have NOT seen an established member's thread locked
not once did I say you can't shouldn't or it's wrong or certainly not unfair. I just pointed out, hmm I never really saw that before and I suppose it seemed odd to me. Like, when you learn about another culture, and they don't make a lot of direct eye contact, so when you go there you should maybe avoid it too. But if you were to ask someone that lives there and has been doing it out of habit for their whole life, chances are they say, "oh right, I guess we do do that, never paid much attention to it but clearly everyone does it."
It's not a rule, just a common practice that can be easily observed
and you need help girl
are you on coke howie
howie always going too deep with shit
I feel I'm pretty reasonable, and clearly there is a disconnect, so I don't really feel like elucidating explaining further unless you give me something to go on, like... do you disagreeee? and with what etc
I locked a thread and she cried and got it unlocked. Now you've gone all philisophical on us about whether or not it was the right thing to do, and I know you know that I locked that thread specifically to piss her off, so I'm really confused at what message you're trying to get across other than you would have not locked the thread yourself, but to that I say, I do not care.
What exactly is the problem? I've locked plenty of stuff only for someone else to unlock it.
Spam mods locking threads
I'm not speaking chinese here.
the tl;dr is it seems uncommon to lock established poster's threads, I am unaccustomed to it but laying no judgment
as you probably take issue with the above statement, when I said I personally would not do it (locking a thread) that personally involved me in any way and would hand it over to a 3rd party mod to do as they see fit. Please note I have yet to lay any accusations or judgements on anyone
Imagine if I could lock things.
I would probably unlock threads from 1992 and bump them.
Continuing the conversation as if it's still going on, spam bot-like.
The awkwardness of the pilot episode of Dexter was way more lulzy then all the sis on bro fantasy's combined. Those two had no idea how to act around each other.
now they really have no idea how to act because of the rl shit, they need to kill her off
The rl shit has taken place since the beginning of the show.
