Complete agreement here. I don't support death penalty because IMO it is impossible to be 100% sure you have the correct perp 100% of the time. Even one innocent person killed for a crime he or she did not commit is too many. The legal system will never be perfect because people are not perfect. It will never be 100%. So to me, the death penalty will never be appropriate.

Don't beat yourself up about it, I do non gender-egalitarian shit all the time, it's been ground into me for 30 years and old habits die hard. Also because sometimes it's just easier to let a guy open a door for you than to get all heckly about it.

I personally don't think you do what I feel skirk does (however unintentionally.) But we have talked about this. Feminism doesn't mean turning a blind eye to when women are fucking dumb and do silly shit to set themselves back. Let's call a spade a spade here.
