Day doesn't like anyone he perceives as garnering favor from the general public, and especially doesn't like when those people "pick on" someone that is considered stupid for whatever reason, self-inflicted or not. As a result, he tends to rage against whatever the status quo is in some sort of quest for social justice. Or just for laughs, never really figured out which.
