Am I the only one, or did anyone else get the vibe of a setup? I mean, for most of the episode it seemed sincere, but then she mentions Escher to the bad agent (and tells him something off camera) and then she suddenly dies. I might be reading too much into it, but when she faked Alzheimer's to the agent and showed she was actually very alert, I got the impression that she was not only working for Escher, but may have intentionally had her son put the suit out. Let's face it, Sadler sent back no one by mistake and though some got spread across time to some extent, their destinations seem very deliberate in terms of that spread.

^ I don't doubt that at all, reeks of set up. Also the pacing has been pretty fast this season, like not wasting time between stuff.

Isn't Escher the made-up agent Cameron told him was in charge of section 6 last season?

Cameron said "Are you ready to support me?" before she left, so I assumed th whole Escher thing between her and the bad agent was her distracting him so Cameron could do what Cameron does.

As for her dieing; I assumed one of two things. One; bad agent killed her or two; activating the chip in her state was too much and she died. Out of he two, I think 2 is more likely. I don't think the bad agent is bad; he just want answers.

Although its highly suspected to be one of those "time interlopers" who actually know how to properly manipulate time .... which makes me wonder at this moment if they are who future Sadler made a deal with the devil with.

Elder Sadler made sure everyone in the room, security guards and all, were there for a reason and were sent to the times he chose (as opposed to where Liberate thought they were going, except Kagame who was in on it with Sadler). Then later when she arrived and young Alec attempted to make a cover story for her, Escher came out of nowhere and created a full blown airtight cover for her with Section 6. Thus its likely Escher is one of these other time traveler people. And just to add to the entire conspiracy, its hard to believe Kiera's old partner didn't get contacted by and integrated into this shadow society of time manipulators in her 40 or so years here in the past.

It's a rare show that's getting better as time passes. Plus, it's the best Canadian import around. The star is getting more attractive (which seems to be a lost art for female leads that start attractive, then have a kid like the show won't suffer for it) as time passes. It is also the rare scify show that actually focuses on scifi...

The nerd kid has some blind spots (girls interested were obviously bait) but is a great character.

The biggest faults to the show are the "future folk wear skin-tight uniforms," "beefcake cops are likeable," and the Indian actor is just awful with every line he delivers.
