Was kind of wondering the same thing, and since Mirror of Fate somehow has Trevor and Simon existing in the LoS timeline.. Going by the appearance, sword, and Gabriel's reaction I'd bet on Alucard (or maybe Juste).

I was thinking Alucard but that wouldn't make any sense considering Gabriel eventually becomes Dracula himself chilling in New York.

They can explore a lot of stuff in the sequel. Gabriel wasnt born a Belmont, he was dropped of on the door step of the Brotherhood of the Light as a child and took that name. Remember the story line was rebooted

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 coming to PC

In the quietest "announcement" of Gamescom, producer Dave Cox revealed a PC version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. The game was first announced at E3 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
