It's all dependent on the mob and what macros you're using. Certain fights -phy damage is just plain useless for rdm because either the mob has no chance of hitting you in the first place cause you're stacking too much fast cast/haste/mob attacks too slowly, or it's a magic based fight. But yeah, now that you're posted it, I remember having that and he probably did too.

Man, fuck that. I had a hell of a time getting that bitch in late 04... suddenly when I wanted it so did everyone else. Then once I got that bitch no one cared anymore.

Like I said, MDB was definitely a RDM stat. I don't think NINs or PLDs ever went near the shit. But we could stack it to an absurd degree and just laugh at every spell ever cast in our direction. Ga coming my way? LOL, cool story bro. Don't even stun that shit. Let him waste his time casting.

Could be. I quit after whatever expansion came out after toau. RDM wasn't good for tanking everything anyway though. Anything that attacked quickly and physically hard would tear us a new one. Sky and kings, RDM not a great tank, but could easily solo most of sky with the tiger, kirin, and one of the pop NMs (mother something?) as the only exceptions. CoP, RDMs ran the tanking game and it wasn't even close. Could solo specific limbus runs and all the sea capes to top it off. Toau I started to take a break from the game, never did Salvage. Cerb was the only HNM I remember and he was easily tanked by all.

I've honestly never even attempted to tank Nid but I would predict hate issues (I've seen fucking bards tank him though. Anyone remember that shit when chocobos whatever was godlike hate and impossible to tear off? Niggas could go hog wild all they felt like and not worry a wink). Quick fights were always better off with NINs and PLDs imo, long drawn out shit is better off with RDM. Kited fights are near impossible to keep hate on (KB). All your hate tools are long cast times.
