Perm, I decided I liked the Suppression track more. Oppression was cool but on the days I listened to it so far i've preferred Suppression because it is more... soothing? I'm not sure if that's really the right word. Just more chilled out.

Right on. Suppression is intended to be a bit more restrained and haunting where Oppression more aggressive and on the industrial tip. The whole concept was to use some of the same parts in both but have them evoke different emotions in different settings while being thematically similar. Yeah I'm an artfag.

DEFINITELY accomplished that if it was your goal. Oppression made me a bit anxious actually. It wasn't that it sounded bad or I didn't enjoy it, but it definitely made me fidgety and shifty. Suppression made me calm down.

For instance, percs + benadryl will make percs stronger than if you just took the percs by themselves (It also gets rid of the itch).
