dude. i made over 80 mil gil through a series of fortunate and unfortunate events in a period of 8 days, when the most i'd made TOTAL in the 2 years or so i'd been playing was 20-30 mil tops

1. make 20 mil from yoyd manaburns (ODS) using my stockpile of kindreds seals from solo meriting on wamouracampas (the time when this avatar was born)
2. powerlevel leathercraft from 60ish to 90+, making panther mask+1 while leveling in the 90s. +5% haste turban had just been discovered though, so it was only worth 700k as opposed to 14 mil.
3. angry at my misfortune, i wander into gilsellers that sell me amemet skins (more than 40) for half price. made 8mil on the +1s
4. LS gets a behemoth mantle drop. i pay noobs that i dont know to PM my LS leader/broski to give me the hide (he wants to sell it full price for LS bank).
5. DUSK TROUSERS +1 YEA BOY i undercut the shit out of them. almost went into shock when i saw the hq crystal explode
6. use money on behemoth hides to craft dusk gloves
7. use 4 signature crystals, 4 regular dusk gloves.
8. dusk gloves didnt sell while i was asleep so i desynthd them.
9. broke one
10. didn't buy signature crystals, made a dusk gloves +1 on 7th synth (running total)
11. was offered 40 mil, turned it down, worked him up to 50 and sold them. He only had 47mil and had to borrow the last 3mil from a friend. he also didnt speak english and we used a lot of auto-translate.
12. got a mil from some noob gilbuyer that wanted moldavite earring (got it for him). this was while i was talking to the japanese guy, so i was camping the goblin while negotiating with someone that didnt speak english
13. guy comes to spawn and buys the gloves off of me because i'm camping
14. moldavite drops
15. i buy all of the fireworks in the auction house literally and start a party in whitegate

made my first mil on VE at level 30-40. Didn't even xp at that point I was so hooked on making money. Probably sold about 20+ pins while NA figured out nin/war and rng/nin and it was THE piece of gear you had to have. Hit 75, got into endgame and make crazy loots on selling shining cloths and made money on the side in this small LS of the elitest of the elite from all the different hnmls ( like 6-7 of us ) who would bot KA, Amemet, Sim, Serket, etc etc. Once we had vrtra on farm we were selling cashmere after we decked all our brd out. Guild bank was easily over 100m.

My wife played with me and she was more into crafting. She made about 3 dusk gloves +1 and 2 dusk pants +1.


Quit the game, most of my OG guild quit so I disbanded guild, took my share of guild funds and split the rest. Made about 6-7000 selling my character, wifes character and RMT gil. Felt great man.
