That has me optimistic again, but what are the specs to get it there?

This trailer is 19 days old.
http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/04/...ill-have-hbao/We’ve talked a lot about the console versions of Watch_Dogs, but today Creative Director Jonathan Morin gave some information on Twitter for those that are waiting to play the game on PC:
- A lot of different specs will run the game at high level of detail, but for ultra you’ll need at least an Intel Core i7-4770K with a GeForce 780
- The Nvidia Tech PC video was recorded on a rig with an Intel Core i7-3930K and a GeForce Titan.
- Those that use an AMD video card won’t be able to enjoy Nvidia’s TXAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing). HBAO+ (Horizon Based Ambient Occlusion), while developed by Nvidia, will still work on AMD cards.

why do people care about graphics so much
Because I like the atmosphere realistic graphics can bring.
The game's graphics are nothing stellar... who the fuck would shell out over a grand to experience some superficial sandbox experience?
Lol a fucking Titan? "Hey guys to get the game looking like we pretended it would look back at announcement you just gotta drop $1200+ on a video card![]()

"
Also not that impressive even with a Titan.
Titan doesn't cost $1200 and it's been outclassed by a few other cards now.
That's still ridiculous, since most developers consider "playable" to be 30 fps we're likely looking at that hardware req with a sub 60 framerate
TXAA is garbage, it's weird that they think this is some kind of selling point. Those that use an AMD video card won’t be able to enjoy Nvidia’s TXAA
I'm not super tech savvy, but my understanding regarding Intel cpu was I7 is pointless for games because they do not need the hyperthreading capabilities the I7's bring. I've read numerous reports, testimonials, etc that a solid I5 is just barely behind a I7 in regards to strictly gaming. Seems pretty silly to suggest needing a I7 for a game.
Very few games use hyperthreading, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Crysis 3, maybe BF4.
In my case any gains from that are bulldogged by the fact that I'm throwing a 290x at it though.
Those requirements are a little ridiculous =(. I'm not getting anywhere near there, so I'm hoping the game just plain runs fine on med settings with out crazy tearing or anything. Assassin's Creed still haunts me in my sleep from my pc playthrough.
It wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't shown us the videos at MEGA-ULTRA-MAXIMO-PRE-REDERED levels and pretended they were in game shots at average settings.
