Been playing it, driving on the PC is fucking HORRRRRRIBLE, figured as much though because Ubisoft is shit at PC ports anyways, and driving is always a fucking pain with WASD in these games.

Totally true. I don't have a fucking Titan but have a AMD 7990 and only playing on "High" settings mixed with a few "Medium". It still lags terribly when driving around or during a fire fight at times, really annoying coupled with the horrible unresponsive mouse sensitivity (Turned to 100 and is still sluggish).

Also the sound...wtf is with the sound? Set to max and it's like everyone is whispering still...

Read on reddit that amd GPUs are having issues with it atm /shrugs. I'll find out in 3 days how my 680 fairs.

I guess if we're grabbing it off the web then w/e, but still, disheartening to hear. My 770, which I play everything at max, probably doesn't have a chance!

7970 here and I'm running it fine on Ultra with a 2560/1440 monitor...

Might need updated drivers, but the specs stated for Ultra might not be to far off. With a 3570k (OCed to 4.2ghz) and a 290x the game is consistently floating in the 30-40fps range at Ultra. Totally playable for this type of game, but definitely not a very well coded game.

From what I've read today, the game was optimized for console and ported to PC with minor improvements.

I will say, the game is pretty fun. I'm hoping part of the performance issues come from needing official drivers for the game, cause the performance is pretty damn disappointing. Even setting it on low only takes it up to 60-70 range, which is kinda pathetic for the level of hardware I'm throwing at it.

Also as was said, the game is really really quiet. I'm gonna assume this is related to missing a day one patch or something.

If the BG consensus is this game is good I'm sure the general public will agree which will keep the price higher. I doubt price will drop/tank to Thief levels anytime soon.

getting around 80FPS with a 4770k and two GTX 780s. Kinda funny considering this is supposed to be an nVidia optimized game, but whatever, not like I care about anything over 60 anyway. Sucks for anyone without a ridiculously overexpensive waste of money PC though

i use a 360 pad to play, so... it has controller support. i can't think of any recent ubisoft games that haven't had pad support.























they lack plenty of fucking other things though... like windowed mode. or borderless windowed. or optimization of any description.
