Wasn't there a gameplay trailer a long time ago where the focus was on sabotage with the ghost soul thing?

That's still way different than the entire game being a third person shooter. you would almost expect a game featuring a ghost to have some kind of possession mechanic.

That trailer was pretty unexpected. I had no ideas coming into this game about her back story. I had seen some trailers of her with special "powers". I have no idea what to expect going into this game.... which is what Quantic Dream is known for.

Demo on October 1st for NA, 2nd for EU

Today we can confirm that the Beyond: Two Souls demo will be available on Tuesday, October 1st in North America and Wednesday 2nd October in Europe on PlayStation Store. There will be opportunities for a few of you to get in on September 24th — we’ll be announcing those soon.

This demo will include two scenes from the game, giving insight into the extraordinary story that awaits you next month. This will be the first chance for most to go hands-on and experience the improvements Quantic Dream has made to Heavy Rain’s control scheme.

The Beyond: Two Souls demo will feature the following two scenes from the final game:

• Jodie & Aiden: Join a very young Jodie as she takes part in an experiment at the Department of Paranormal Activities. As officials put her abilities to the test, you take charge of a mysterious, invisible entity.

• Hunted: Skip forward a number of years and help Jodie escape the clutches of government agents as the mysterious entity unleashes its truly astonishing powers.

I was thinking about cancelling the pre-order to have some more money this month, but then I played the demo and can't wait for this to get here

With the kind of places I frequent on the net, I'm a-ok getting this game on day-1 (or 2, depending on shipping speed) before some dick spoils whatever plot twist there is.

Just hope the steelbook case is proper bluray-case size and not DVD-size, otherwise I'll have a problem storing it on my bookshelf.....
