.Tecmo Koei will launch Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 1, 2013 in Europe, it has announced. A release date for the Wii U version “will be announced at a later time.”
The game, a sequel to 2010′s Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage, adds a variety of new modes and features, including:
Legend Mode: Follows the storyline of the entire manga, starting with a re-imagined version of ‘Raoh’ and covering ‘Celestial Emperor’ and ‘Land of Shura’. This faithful adaptation ensures that this mode can be enjoyed by both fans of the manga and new comers to Kenshiro’s post-apocalyptic world. Different characters will be controlled for each episode while ‘boss’ encounters will feature entire famous scenes from the manga, recreated in intricate detail.
Over 20 playable characters will be available, including Falco, Shachi, Shew and Juza.
Dynamic new moves: The destructive power of the techniques of Hokuto Shinken and Nanto Seiken meet the intense action of the Warriors series to produce a thrilling experience. In addition to the signature moves of the first title, new actions such as ‘sprint’ and ‘dodge’ have been added to the move sets.
Dream Mode: Introduces new, original storylines to the Fist of the North Star universe while bridging the gaps between parts of the main story, often focusing on some of the series’ minor characters.
Online Co-Op and Versus Play: For the first time, Dream Mode will be playable in co-op or versus play via the internet.
Tecmo Koei is also planning a variety of post-launch costume and stage add-ons.
Quite possibly one of the manliest games ever created.
I feel manlier just reading about it.
BRB, going to chug some Brawndo and flip a car like it's a table.

Playing the demo right now and this is so much better than the first. Actually following the manga this time, no corners cut. Gameplay is smoother and faster. 10/10 for me already.
pls feb hurry up
http://gematsu.com/2012/11/fist-of-t...-empires-datedTecmo Koei has dated Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 and Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires in North America.
Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will launch for PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network and Xbox 360 at retail on February 5, 2013. The game was previously dated for a retail release across both platforms in Europe on February 1. A Wii U version is also in development, but a release date was not announced.
Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires will be released for PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network on February 26, 2013. In Europe, the game will release at retail on February 22.
The reason for the digital-exclusive releases in North America, we understand, is in co-ordinance with Sony Computer Entertainment America’s localization policies, which require a game be dubbed in English for it to be released at retail. However, Sony has been known to lift these policies in the past with games such as Yakuza and Record of Agarest War.

I was worried for a sec by the WUBWUBWUBWUB, but it's all cool. Anyway, the multiplayer feature looks sick, I never even got to play the multiplayer in the first one. This game is a definite buy for me.
Didn't even know there was a demo for this, missed out on so much shit past 3 weeks. I probably won't even have time now to play the first one before this release so I'll probably just start with the 2nd then play the first.
No need to; second one has all the story content of the first one in it. As far as I can tell, the second game has pretty much the entirety of the first's contents already in it, but with a more fluid combat system. The first one is good, but there's really no need to play it if you get the second I think.
http://www.siliconera.com/2012/12/26...-han-playable/Tecmo Koei announced some downloadable content for Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 in Famitsu. Players will be able to get Amiba (pictured), Han, and Nameless Asura as playable characters.
Famitsu also mentioned there will be a… risqué costume for Rin too.
http://gematsu.com/2013/01/fist-of-t...lease-date-setThe Wii U version of Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will launch on February 7 in North America, Tecmo Koei has announced. Like its European Wii U counterpart, which launches February 6, it will be a download only release.
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions (PlayStation 3 version is also download only) have been previously announced for a February 5 release. In Europe, both version will launch at retail on February 7.
http://www.siliconera.com/2013/01/14...nce-and-italy/Tecmo Koei are offering a collector’s edition of the game exclusively in France and Italy. This comes with a visual storybook, the game’s soundtrack, character stickers, a USB stick (4GB), a postcard calendar and the game.
Fuuuuuuuuuuck I want that flash drive without paying like $100 for it on Ebay.![]()
Europe gets everything awesome in collector editions.
Having lots of fun with this so far! The "comic book cutscenes" are kind of lame, was hoping it'd be full cutscenes for everything, but eh, it's still kind of cool I guess, seeing as how it's supposed to follow the manga very closely. I've only ever watched the anime, myself.
Spoiler: show
I picked this up because it happened to come out while I had just discovered Sengoku Basara Heroes (best musuo series imo) and honestly it's pretty fun. The story mode is really indepth, long, and thorough, so if you're a fan of the series you may enjoy the game for that alone. The multiplayer is really fun but I've found the syncing to be really shitty. It'll look like your partners are fighting nothing and just attacking thin air often lol, its apparent when you're 2v1ing a boss. If you wanna coop add me on PSN, Endswithyou
I like it better than One Piece
