there is something to be said for learning a trade. it can be very hard to land a job that doesnt involve some sort of trade skill knowledge and you are obligated to work from your own brain and think/perform/come up with better ideas than others. sometimes when i am getting pwned at work i wish i knew how to do some computer shit so i could just fix a computer instead of come up with the next great fundraising idea, or grassroots movement, or convince congress that the financial services industry does not need regulation.

i say go for culinary school. i got a bro that does it and he loves that shit.

You just read a lot and think about applying what you read to novel situations. It's kinda fun actually. I'm going to be doing some research on Tor and the concept of anonymity soon which will be excellent fun.
