That looks insane... I wouldn't be surprised if he uses Hell Fire multiple times. lol![]()

Yeah my buddy has been doing it a little, got me to 30MAR/WAR and 22GLD so far. Basically either aggro->1shot or I claim->he kills. Should be doing Steel Cyclone now to get to 43 and do spiritbond to 50. I really want to abuse the hell out of the PL stuff before it gets Tanaka'd for 2.0 lol.
yeah i've been thinking this would work, just haven't had anyone try it for me. However, mrd is 35 now, so should be 42ish (possibly 50, if i get a good group) by tommorow night, and next week will be experimenting, PL folks, getting them to PL me back etc.
DOH, and DOL gonna take some time i think though lmao
That Sear effect suuuucks
DoH isn't TOO bad anymore really, I mean..it still sucks, just not as bad. Before you got 200-300 exp a synth, now with quality spam/rested bonus you can get 1500-4000 exp a synth, and level quickly exclusively through leves, which actually will make you good money. It's still boring though haha.
Yeah, that and jump may be a hate reset, I couldn't tell if it was coincidence or if it actually reset. Either way I can not wait for this fight, and am afraid to see what Garuda Extreme is going to be.
You realize they're not going to get outdated right?
I think SE failed with the hamlet part. The rest of it looks fun but hamlet defence is a major cockblock before you even start, and it's boring content. It seems you rely on more DoH/L jobs than fighters. As if crafting wasn't boring enough already. Unfortunately this is what we get for people complaining about not being able to do end-game content with their fishing rods and fry pans. The concept isn't too bad but you shouldn't need half the party taken up by non-battle classes.
Although it may change in 2.0, I'm not entirely against something to weed out some folks so that the weapons aren't too commonplace. /cynical
It's the extreme primals and the 17 minute dungeon runs that will keep the casuals from the relics, not the horrible first step.
Since lv5 hamlet is confirmed through achievement, i believe when its implemented, we can varies our job setup because you will only need what.. 13k base and multiplies it by 5.
Just playing devil's advocate here, but technically you don't need to do 17 minute AV/CC runs (although that takes a massive amount of time to get it from a non-speed run chest) and since primal battles as we know them won't exist in 2.0, who knows how they'll fulfill that requirement in the new version.
Hamlet and the melding portion are really the only retarded parts of the quest. Everything else is fine; you got your grindy parts and portions of it actually require some teamwork and skill.
I don't get this level 5 hamlet etc. What are the levels? I always get x2 multiplier so I guess that's level 2. Never done a level 1.
I think the main off putting thing with the relics is the jobs we have now are just the basic ones. Eventually we're going to have more added which will probably be better than these. But who knows when that will be.
Also has anyone seen the stats on the weapons yet?
I think this is an appropriate thread. I am looking for new and exciting ways to defeat Chim in short order. I'm not much for BLMing, so here's what I've cooked up:
1 PLD, 2 WHM, 5 MNK for Chimera. Will it blend?
Plan:
Spoiler: show
WS breakdown:
Spoiler: show
But here's the biggest problem...
Voice of the Ram: Ideally stunned by Pounce; damage partially absorbed by Protect/Stoneskin. Replenish with Curaga. What's to be done about silence?
The ram has me stumped. Is there any safe place for WHM to go?
Problem is I don't know the names of them. Just saw the bard one on the official forums, the stats look nice.
I can't even decide which weapon to go for. I am BLM main but mages hardly use their weapons so it seems like a melee weapon would be better. Problem with that is I don't know which melee class I'd want to play. Still pissed at SE giving archer a support job, I don't want to stand their singing and tossing cures. I don't like PGL, I don't like GLD. That leaves me with MRD and DRG, neither of which I've played.
