I've had a pair of red cobalt sollerets forever and I've never had a problem macroing them, can post an SS of your macro if you want.

Do I have to trade in guild marks at each individual guild, or can I do it all in one place? Are they considered one giant pool of marks, or does each (LNC CUL etc) get deducted separately?
Actually for that matter is this still able to be done? Haven't logged in in quite some time.
Have to do it in each guild separatedly. I don't think they turned the option off but I'm not sure.
Seems it is still doable. Running around turning in marks now.
Another question then: Efficient way of earning company seals? Still trade-ins and caravans?
Also is it my imagination or is the game running much smoother now? Menus seem to load faster, less time is spent "blinking" when swapping gear. This is relative to 1.21, I suppose.
Caravans are pretty good, aside of that people do Toto-Rak runs to trade NM drops for seals.
Also you can trade Ifrit weapons now if you're somehow abundand in that![]()
The best seals/hour solo aside from just trading supply junk in en-masse is probably company guild leves, but it's only viable if you have a ton of leves to burn.
Basically accept/cancel leves from the NPC until you get one of the /poke ones, which take ~5 mins to complete (the others take the full 15 mins) for 240 seals.
Like I said tho, it's really only viable for those of us with nothing else to burn leves on. I know they increased the amount of seals you get from caravan but idk how much it actually is or how often they happen.
I've been capped on leves since forever, so that's definitely no problem. Seems like they added some quests that give seals too, so that'll be of help.
I guess on the note of Ifrit weapons; I have all Ifrit and Moogle weapons except Ifrit's Cudgel and Mogbow. Which am I safe in tossing into storage/exchanging for marks? Ifrit's Cane (WHM) I'm assuming is garbage, for example.
Edit: Wrong job on cane, derp.
That's not the case as I use the auto-translate so that doesn't happen. I then tried to manually type it and it did nothing either.Check your spelling and make sure the - in bas-relief is there.
My macro works fine, post an SS if you can't figure out the problem.
Cane is WHM, and unless you have or intend to meld a decent WHM nuking weapon it's nice to have for those situations. That said you have the mog wand and that + the matk (or macc) shield work fine as well.
There's still no confirmation on the next step in the relic quest after AV/CC? >_> I'd have expected the whole quest log to have been dat mined or something. I've been so curious as to what's next. I've heard the rumor of 50,000 beastman seals or something, but I'm skeptical about that.
For THM, is it better to use a 2-hander or 1 hander + shield?
god damn sad face bro
you were one of the highlights of my returntbh. I am on balmung now i guess. and i was going to jump to durandl with taco and rocl, but i think i'm just gonna tough it out on balmung.
send me a PM with your vent info anyway so we can talk about retarded things like space cats and stuff
Yeah after you quit I could not find any people with appreciation for retarded stuff so I jumped ship, pretty happy on Gungnir now. I'm sure ppl on Durandl can help you catch up fast. I suggest you abandon Balmung, people there have no appreciation of space cats or cakefarts
For WAR, what should I gear for? Is there a balance to STR/VIT I should shoot for? Is crit+ better than straight attack power?
Might have already been mentioned by way of guildleves, but whats a solid way to make decent money for someone starting out?
I've read selling crystals and shards can make good money, but id rather save those for when i level my crafting jobs right?
And is there any guides on what armor to shoot for at what levels? I've checked the merchant wards but a lot of low level stuff is either WAY overpriced considering its history, not available, or both. Mostly disciples of war at this point.
That depends on how long you want to wait to get into crafting, I guess... but selling them can get you a good base and help you level in which case you can farm more money to buy those crystals/shards back later.
That and you'll get thousands and thousands just... playing the game.
I've sold tens of thousands of each type of shard and still have thousands more... and I barely even play.
I hate to say it but you might be somewhat out of luck on crafted armor unless you look up recipes and try to shout for a crafter. That said, some of the quests scattered around the towns give equipment, so you might want to see what's available from them as they've changed the rewards a couple of times now. Other than that, you could try to head into the level 15 open world dungeon Sposhae (I'm sure I spelled that wrong). There's some pretty solid low level equipment to be had there from the chests. Once you get to the 20s and beyond, you can bridge the gap to 50 pretty well with stuff from the various NMs and Totorak. Also, starting around then you'll probably have an easier time finding stuff in the wards, and with the materia meld request they added it shouldn't be too hard to get materia attached if you have any. Really, I'd just scrounge together what you can from quests and leves and try to shoot up through the lower levels, it goes pretty fast now.
For crafting leves, if I only craft the required two, and have leftover materials, do I get to keep the extra mats for myself ?
