Grid was hell in 1.0 and we've spent a LOT of time there thanks to alpha and beta for 2.0.

^ This, i'm from Grid and it was pretty crappy in 1.0. The Grid in 2.0 is awesome but being bound to only that area for the A/B so far has made everyone ready to check out the other areas, which also look fantastic.

Locking 1.0 Alpha to Limsa, and 2.0 Alpha/Beta to Grid, really isn't helping the cause of enticing people to move out of Uldah. Chose Uldah as soon as it was revealed, will be staying indefinitely.

Ul'dah is SE's apology for Lastok in XI. Took like 4 years to get all the damn OP warps.

Was there someone who was going to try and use their pre-order code for bonus items and then refund before billed? I would like to know how that turns out.

Several people have done it, but there's no way to know yet if the Preorder code gets cancelled as well until the game actually gets released. Nobody's been outright banned for it, though that doesn't mean it couldn't happen in the future.

I'm about to pre order the game tomorrow for my gf (on ps3) and i (on pc). Is there any real disadvantage from ordering it thru the SE shop rather than getting it at gamestop or something? Also, is she still able to apply for beta for p3? She really wants to try it out on ps3.

Do you need to reapply to be a beta tester for every phase?

I applied way back before Phase 1 to be a PS3 tester (and yeah, I know PS3 isn't available til Phase 3). Put in my FF13 code too. Will my app still be considered?

Yes and using the XIII code gives you priority for the PS3 beta.

Perhaps the shipping? Best Buy or the like you can pick it up on the release date.

I ordered CE from the SE store, otherwise I would have rather just picked it up myself.

If NA, Amazon has all the preorder goodies up now and physical copies are upgraded to release date shipping.

Next question, since i got into p2, and i used my XIII code, should i be getting a different code for p3 for ps3? Also ty for the link, i'll apply for my gf tonight.

*Edit* Also reason i asked about the SE shop is cuz i'd have the clients d/led from both systems. I'd get my reg codes immediately and just run the game on day 1 not worrying about my physical copy to come in.
