Hey guys, a question.

So I pre-ordered the GF ARR and made her an SE account. Is there a way to register the service to her SE account at this point or can we not do that till later?

Anyone getting these errors?

2nd one got solved when I ran the launcher as administrator, but the 1st one pops up now.

Edit: NVM got it working, for anyone else with these errors, disable Windows Firewall + Run as admin. seems to work

My husband had received no information from SE, he tried to log into his account and it just worked for him -- he is downloading the patch now. May want to try logging in if you were haven't and were waiting for the key.

Is there a torrent for the phase 3 patches? Or is there a .torrent file like we had in 1.0? The patcher is quite slow.

Are we able to transfer 1.0 characters yet? Where can I do this? I ask because I am seeing people running around with onion helms.

Also, is the 1.0 character realm relocation application up yet? I think this is the one I remember having to wait for.

For some reason I can log into http://na.square-enix.com/ with the SE ID I made for my GF but it won't let me log into the SE Account management system where you register services and such. Any of you guys experienced this/know what is causing it? Tried everything I can think of..

Believe it's under one of the config settings along with turningbdown/off other peoples battle effects.

Quick question: does anybody know how to get off of Limsa Lominsa, or is it not possible during beta? Not sure if it's random, or if it's based on the job we pick, but I got put in Limsa Lominsa while my friends are at the other two cities.

I didn't realize it was separated from the rest of the land until I tried going further into the areas. Kept sneaking pass monsters and finding myself in level 40+ areas while I was only level 8 lol with no other city in site.

LL is on an island so you're not going anywhere on foot, lol. You either do the story missions until you get the airship pass, or you can use the dock in Limsa to travel near Ul'dah (although I'm not sure if there aren't any prerequisites to use it now).

Not sure if you figured it out already, but that SE account is different from the one you use to log into beta. I know this because my friend had trouble with the same exact thing, and we figured it out. You have to make an SE account through the ffxiv site.

@Gokulo; yeah, I guess I'll just have to do main and side missions till I get some kind of pass.

Yes, there is. The NDA allows any commentary and screenshots, but no audio or video. There were many streams on twitch that basically were screenshots and people discussing the game, but they get old fast.

Now... According to the patch notes. You can learn how to dye armor by completing a "certain quest". They give out the names and locations of the dye vendor but not the actual quest to unlock the ability. Anyone happen to have that information?
