All of the big instance fights that I can recall were shared across all GCs in 1.0, some stuff was GC-specific but was open world so it didn't matter.

I would assume they intend to keep with it and not restrict people.

You should have received an email with a beta key prior to last weeks beta test. Contact Support if you do not have one yet.

I love being in healer and keeping people alive, but I can't stand being a "pure" healer with nothing to do but stare at the wall when no one is taking damage, I also loved being a bard in FFXI because of the constant pulling, keeping buffs up, and having to keep the chain/sleep things/keep shadows up. Should I play a Conj - > WHM or Archer - > BRD?

I would not recommend BRD if you want something that feels/plays like FFXI-BRD in meripos. The jobs really aren't the same at all.

WHM gets nukes and there was plenty of time to use them in a lot of 1.0 fights. Out of the two, WHM is probably your best option.

BRD songs will be similar to GEO spells in FFXI right now. Your songs will have a "sound" radius, players or enemies out of this radius won't be effected by your song. So you will not be able to sing something for the mages and something else for the damage dealers while keeping a debuff on the enemy.

quick question: as a Marauder, Can I level pugilist and get Second wind Lv8 skill and then put it under the skills of my Marauder? that goes the same to put gladiator Fight of Flight Lv6 skill into my Marauder skill set.

Can I download and play the PC version just like ffxi, or will it not work as I only.have a ps3 key?

Pretty sure it's not in this phase. Remember all this progress is wiped still.

No, you cannot. They may allow it later during testing.
