Nitpick... but tattoo is only for characters made during 1.0. For example my 2 original characters have the tattoos my new beta characters from scratch do not. Remember there is a difference between having a "legacy" character (a character made during 1.0) and having a legacy account (having paid for 3 months between January and September 2011).

Thats what I said? Unless by account you think I meant any character created under the 1.0 SE account... Which I didn't.

Are the story quests getting voice acting? My concern is come phase 4 we'll do the story quests but the voice acting won't be there until launch and thus we've missed it since the quests are non-repeatable. You can't avoid the story quests either since they unlock shit we need. Hopefully the voice acting will be in the phase 4 client.

Something I wonder, is how different the game will be from P3 to P4 or release as for unlocking tuff

Exemple, Retainers you have to unlock them in the main story line, during P3, but they said somewhere that 1.0 will have retainers from start without needing the quest.

I wonder what else will be different aka will we still need to do the lv 10 quest to access the armory (not like it's long but still)

I thought it was a bit stupid that you had to officially join each class guild again just to unlock your gear sets, otherwise you were stuck with the initial 6. I imagine that will disappear for legacy. All classes above 1 should be unlocked by default.

Actually you can access your retainer from the get-go already. Just go to the retainer NPC near the summoning bell and choose hire.

Really considering starting fresh on a Legacy server, has anyone seen anything being said about sending U/U items/equip to a different character on the same account like in XI? I know I'll be able to move my gil to my new character if I start fresh but would like to keep some of my U/U stuff as well.

You can review any cutscene from a book in the inn rooms (don't recall seeing it in phase 3 but I doubt they intend to get rid of it).

So I had a CE from 1.0 so in ARR i'll have a CE with all the benefits but I wont get headstart due to legacy status, now if I decide to just toss out 20 bucks for headstart and preorder a SE edition, that won't fuck up my account will it? I would assume it would just get applied to my account and I would still have a CE, but I dont want to suddenly downgrade my shit from CE to SE (I highly doubt this would happen...but who knows!)

Go into the config menu or just click the little preferences icon next to the chat tabs under the log window. Should be able to change the filters as normal.

Think about how many players will be stuck doing the low level content on a non-legacy server. The amount of help you can get on a Legacy server will be insurmountable, from quests to crafting materials. Though the only downside might be the over-inflation of prices on items.
