While cutscenes for completed quests would still be available in the Unending Journey, most of them will be reworked for the new version, resulting in significantly different viewing experiences for the same cutscene. All cutscenes related to the Seventh Umbral Era would be removed entirely. As they would not be used in any of the reworked quests, revamping these cutscenes solely for the Unending Journey is not cost-effective. However, the new Collector's Edition will contain a DVD recap of the Seventh Umbral Era, and the opening scenes of the game will provide relevant information for new players.

Beta Manual states:

Customize your character's appearance.
* Phase 3: Limited range of categories and sub-categories available.

Beta Roadmap states:

"All character customization options will be available"

However it says Duty Finder is in Phase3 too (which is now false), so I guess I should listen to the Manual and not the Roadmap, eh?

You should be able to just use your se log in go to the world you were on via the server select and your character should be in there. Don't think 1.0 characters needed an invite key

First check our account and see if A Realm Reborn Beta is listed under your Service Options.

Not sure if this has been answered but I see we can apply to server transfer multiple times how does that work? I already applied to transfer to one server but now it seems my ls might have changed their minds about it and are considering another one with a few of our other friends can I apply again or will this just be ignored and my first server will be the one we went to?

You can apply multiple times because of that - the possibility that you change your mind. So yeah, the newest application will take priority.

I can only guess, but considering it's just a dropdown list, they're probably not even going to look at your choice until the deadline (sometime in July), and your last pick wins. You should be able to switch your transfer again just fine.

I just bought the FFXIV CE digital download pre order off the SE store today, is there a way to link it to my SE account right now? or do I need to wait for the early access to start before I can do that?

Just logged into my Square-Enix Account to check for ya, though I purchased and registered 1.0 a long while back so I'm not in the same boat as you. As far as I can tell, you cannot register XIV codes at the moment. Closed beta phase 3 is going on right now, but the registration for that is separate from the retail versions, so no luck there. It looks as if you do indeed need to wait for early access to begin and/or get closer to register your copy, though perhaps this will be enabled during the upcoming open beta, which is expected to start in late July.

I don't understand what you're trying to ask sooo... here's everything!
Twin Adder (Gridania)
Immortal Flames (Ul'dah)
Maelstrom (Limsa Lominsa)

For any item that's worthwhile (at level-cap, at least; I didn't look at everything), there's a relatively similar item, or set of items, in all the grand companies.

We didn't really have access to any GC quests yet so I don't think we can tell yet.
