I'm wondering if phase 4 will have a level cap for non-Legacy plebs (like myself). The beta roadmap .pdf specifically states the level caps in phases 1-3. Nothing stated in the phase 4 page though.

If I play during odd hours for NA, should I be expecting JP members from duty finders? Or is it segregated by region?

You can choose to group with Japanese players in the Duty Finder. It has 4 different language options and I assume you could be grouped up with people on Japanese servers.

Duty Finder is limited to specific Data Centers, so NA/EU get NA/EU and JP get JP. If there are JPs on that data center you'd get them, but aside from that nope

So if Arcanist isn't coming untill release, what would be the best thing to do in Beta Phase 4 for someone who was planning to play it. I assume to just level the side classes that would unlock the jobs but seems a pretty big disadvantage for anyone who wanted to main SCH/SMN assuming they stick with the Phase 4 will not be wiped?

Let's say I purchased Version 1.0 CE but don't have Legacy, and I want to get the pre-order bonus items, the collector's edition bonus items, and I also want to get all the physical goods that come with the collector's edition package. Would I be alright in just pre-ordering the collector's edition?
Sorry if this was already answered. Read up the walls of texts on the official forums but I am abit stupid.

In theory, you'd be fine just preordering any collector's edition as that's the only way to get the physical goods. However as it stands, you may have waited too long as I've heard physical copies of both PS3 and PC have sold out.

You need to get your starting class to level 10 / finish the level 10 class quest first before you can then unlock further classes. The idea is to get you used to questing / starting the game etc

Once you have done that you will be able to go to the other guilds and pick up a weapon but i think the first quest you are given is to just talk to another person and you get a starter weapon maybe?

Toss up between Lancer / Pugilist I still think it's Lancer but I havent played PGL as much to see if that holds true. SJ I feel like I have some from most of the classes. Maybe not so much Cure / nukes for my DD classes but aside from that I can't think of specific must haves.

Lvl your Thm / Cnj get class quests done for the classes. Nothing else you can do that would benefit you on release with Acn, so might as well have both sub classes ready. P4 shouldn't be wiped unless there is a major bug.

Get lvl 10 on your first class > go to guilds of other classes > talk to guild rep and unlock class

Fastest way to get there without teleporting is to go Middle La Nosc. (North Exit) -> East La Nosc. -> Head South and West to Brayflox.

If you're porting, the closest port is Wineport. It's on the map, so you can't miss it.

I know it's not that way right now, but didn't they say you'll need to do a dungeon from its normal entrance once before the DF can teleport you there?

You do need to visit the dungeon once (and speak to the NPC outside) in order to have it available in the duty finder, which is why the person above was asking where it was.
