Determination: Increases the amount of damage dealt by all attacks and the amount of HP recovered by spells.
so does "Determination" really increas all/any attack dmg? because in the german version it says only magic dmg...?
There are 24. You get 6 when you start the game and one for each class including the class you start the game with.
Kinda hoping the first job quest for each class gives another otherwise there will be problems. I will be keeping a set for my THM for example as BLM is terrible for solo without cure. Classes are generally better than jobs for solo so ideally you'd have a gear set for each class and job and then some spares. Should be 30 minimum. At least it should be something they can easily increase.
How to I manually exit a dungeon if my party is just so fucking herpaderp I can't take them any more? Do I have to wait the 70 minutes until the timer wears off to log back in?
go to the duty finder and click withdrawl. that simple. This way you can be replaced, because currently you cant replace a Dced member
Well I accidentally did some poor bastard a favor then, since dipshit tank and dps woke every single slept mob, and the tank kept running off before killing all of the mobs while we were still fighting. When I asked them to please pay attention, I was told to stop bitching or I wouldn't get heals. Yes, I know, beta, blah blah.
I think this is something you should discuss with the group before starting. From my experience of using the DF some groups are confident with AoEing down mob groups whereas others prefer killing one at a time with sleeps. I think the first is more efficient and if a group can't handle 3 trash mobs there's something else wrong. Crowd control is more important when there's a boss in the mix.
You usually can't CC on bosses. AoEing shit is always better in the beta content since everything is real easy. Sastasha is fun as hell if you pull a mountain of shit to blow through all at once.
What determines the 2nd boss chest in Toto-Rak?
I've heard Beta phase 4 allows you to keep progress into release, but is there limitations for it? Like does it only apply to legacy characters? Legacy servers only? Because I can see some people on new servers complaining, if, depending on how long phase 4 runs they log into a brand new server with a ton max leveled players controlling certain crafting markets so early on.
People really are scared of legacy arnt they...not sure why though.
Phase 4 is only a week, its open beta and everyone's progress is carried over.
The most hilarious thing is the uselessness of crafting itself, the fact that new servers economies will have materials at way worse prices due to people not having crafts at 50 and needing to XP, and the thing that actually drives the market (materia) being overly abundant (inflation) because of cracked materia.
Let's just be honest and say we're afraid of automagically not being the shiniest.
^ That's always been the issue. People want to have the biggest dick to wave around, and balance changes are only an issue when they nerf one's dick.
Doesn't seem really bad actually, shard prices are averaging about 30-60g each on the non legacy server i'm on (surprised no one charging obscene prices considering beta), and I've found people with multiple Lv 35 crafts (more then 2) already (they say they got most all their resources just going out gathering instead of doing leves). ┓(´_`)┏
I don't think you'll be able to do this either. Any of this actually.. Won't be able to ride mount until level 20, and you can't unlock a new class at a guild until level 10 (I think).. But maybe you can just buy a level 1 book and equip it to change without going to a guild..
Can't change jobs until level 10, have to unlock the job at the guild.
They only do a pending charge and take it off for now to verify your payment method. We don't actually get billed until it ships.
If you have a 1.0 character that's already over 20 you can ride mounts immediately after the introductory tutorial. You can change jobs as well, at least if it was past level 1 (I didn't have any level 0/1 jobs to try), but you won't have access to gear sets or inns, or the ability to unlock new classes until completing your level 10 class quest. Bolded part is the most significant part for people wanting to unlock ACN. You can, however, complete only your class quests without progressing in the main scenario and hop over to Limsa after unlocking the armory system. You'll only lose out on ~50 exp from the first quest, hardly something to worry about.
