Been confirmed lots of times on Reddit that Newegg does not have any of the preorder bonuses.

I probably should have asked this while the beta was still running, but are you able to leave your chocobo mount out when mounting a different mount, say the goobue one? You have to dismiss your chocobo companion in order to call it as a mount which makes sense, but it would be nice to not have to dismiss/resummon running fates/quests in a region by just using a different creature as a mount.
Probably asked a million times but I just started this weekend and was confused as fuck lol.
Is there a list of reasons i should pick which deity or w/e in the character creation?
Does Convalescence affect bloodbath and second wind?
There is definitely that.
was planning on going gld/pld for tanking and endgame stuff. but it seems like it's being mentioned that other classes are better for that role? (war)
can anyone elaborate as to why?
Tanking is easy, so either one works. WAR/MRD just tends to do more damage, it seems.
Not sure anyone can make a judgement on which class/job is going to out-tank which on endgame events/instances/mobs that we haven't seen.
We haven't even been able to use more than 1 job ability in any boss fight yet. Who knows if they are actively trying to tailor encounters to make slightly better use of Paladin's or Warrior's skill set when it comes to tanking. Ideally, a sole Warrior tank should be noticeably more strain on the healer's MP than a Paladin... but, even so, I don't think we've hit the point where fights draw out long enough for that to matter unless your party is the bads.
question: After you complete an instance, how much time do you have to fuck around and explore the zone before it spits you out (if at all)?
Dungeons: 10 minutes
Guildhests: 15 seconds?
Single boss encounters (Ifrit): No time
As far as dungeons go, nothing despawns, so you can go backtrack and pick up missed chests and stuff if you want. I did that once to complete my MRD hunting log in Sastasha since people skipped the mobs I needed.
What's the significance of starred mobs in dungeons?
(mobs with little star icons next to their names)
Something like elite mobs in other MMOs?
Considering how many mobs have them and they're just regular mobs, I doubt it.
Most mobs in dungeons are supposed to be 'elite', i.e. a little tougher than normal mobs.
It's the "monster class" they recently (yesterday or something) mentioned in a dev quote. Like others have said, it basically means that, despite the monster level being equal/close/below yours, you probably can't solo it (or if you can, it's not near as easy as it would be to do an open-world monster of the same level).
