Seriously? I'm looking forward to this game, but I really wish SE would do more for 1.0 people than "oh, we're not going to make you pay for it AGAIN".

We paid for that broken shit the first time around fuckers, brb making angry post on the XIV board that will get locked.

You dont have to pay for it again though. As a 1.0 CE owner I get all the items in game from my 1.0 CE and only miss out on early access. But you can preorder off Amazon or Gamestop, get your code, use it and then cancel the preorder im pretty sure like every other MMO early access code.

My point being, 1.0 owners (not legacy, mind you) should get just a smidgen more than people coming into the game fresh IMO. Then again, they're also not doing anything for XI people this time around. I guess I'm still a bit miffed about 1.0's suckage and the lack of even a "we're sorry the first version sucked so hard, here have a freebie that's not very significant".

I'll see if my boyfriend has preordered his yet and get him to do it at gamestop since apparently they can crap out however many they like.

The game had no subscription fee for the majority of its life. Despite the problems people still played, and played for free. Anyone could have paid for 90 days within the Legacy Campaign period and received the other perks. If you felt that the game was not worth 3 months subscription, then that is another story.

Open beta != everyone and anyone allowed. They had 1.5m beta registrations. There is NO way it'll be 100% open.

Arrows as consumable items have been abolished so no. All you need is a bow.

If they allowed everyone from 1.0 early access, then... they may as well just call it launch, because then everyone would have "early access".
