No. You get two level 1 hats, a minion, chocobo armour and a mount.

Players who own the FFXIV version 1.0 Collector’s Edition will receive the FFXIV: ARR Collector’s Edition in-game bonus items (Helm of Light, Baby Behemoth Minion, Behemoth Barding, and Coeurl Mount) for free. The in-game bonus items will be delivered via Moogle Letter when FFXIV: ARR launches.

Oh well the last I read 1.0 CE's weren't getting jack shit. I'm much less annoyed now, though I'd still like early access without having to preorder something I'm not going to buy.

Could always preorder for early access at like gamestop and cancel the preorder when it comes out? >.> If that works.

edit: Might not be the best option since I think they keep the initial money down? I stopped going there a long time ago. Preordering online may be a better option.

So what do we actually know about what character data is being kept over into the actual launch? I've seen some people mention that character data from phase 3 is deleted, and then data from phase 4 kept over. How do you know this? And does this mean phase 4 starts with brand new characters (though with choice of same model)?

I received this email today, which indicates that character data will be deleted at the end of phase 4.

If you're talking about the speculation/leaks from the Comments from the Devs thread, that's "Early Access" which is not Phase 4.

As it stands, there's an undetermined amount of time in Phase 4 (open beta) during which not all content will be available (specifically 24-man raids) and then a 7-day early access starting on the 20th which we don't know if everything will be available.

Which the next Live Letter being 8/8 it's unlikely it'll be before then; but aside from that we don't have any idea of duration/start day.

Okay, so after reading up the summary-so-far on 2ch, from what I gather it's:

August 1st - Character Creation Benchmark
August 8th - Producer Letter Live, in which they'll announce when the start date for Phase 4 is.

Hence, it will seem that Phase 4 will start sometime after that.

That's all that was confirmed in the nico-event afaik.

You are right it was ingame confirmation. sorry. I knew I saw it somewhere.

After reading through the original JP blog that posted that screenshot in which Yoshi-P was answering questions when he showed up on the Ifrit server, I can indeed confirm that he said Phase 4 is one week. As a further confirmation, before he gave the one week date he also said that Phase 4 is 'relatively short'.

A summary of other stuff he said:

- They're trying to get Arcanist ready for Phase 4
- Please wait a little more for the details on how Arcanist works (perhaps revealed in the upcoming Niconico Live Event?)
- Event Bosses implemented in Phase 4
- SLI support implemented in Phase 4
- Male Miqotes (and other races?) will have unique motions when entering baths
- When leveling a second class, you will have bonus exp
- Addressed a bug where the cursor goes funny in some instances
- Adjustments to how (slow/fast) a Gatherer levels
- Adjustments (maybe) to the ease of making HQs from NQ materials in crafting
- An in-game event will be implemented right away after Launch (Bomb Event?)
- The dev team has designed endgame events to outright kill players
- (The Labyrinth of) Bahamut is so long, it pretty much requires players to 'save progress' as they proceed through the dungeon
- No plans to implement a 'your server only' option for the Duty Finder as for now


As per why he came to that decision for the last point, Yoshi-P made a long post about the Duty Finder in which he explains why, so wait till the offical translated response for that.

Try at the support center, find an excuse but I doubt It will work, you had like 1 month or 1month and a half to do it
