You won't be able to do class quest exept for your starting class until you do the job class lv 10 quest of that starting class.

So need to note that, and that will unlock the Gear set at the same time and unlocking lv 1 classes quest too

So make sure that your LNC is at least lv 10 so you can do those quest ASAP if you wanna go THM after (not like lv 10 is long)

Also, THM hunting log will be mostly in Uldah areas so you may need to go back there, and we don't know where the story quests will take us after lv20. Just level THM properly, then you can "rp" level another class by being exclusive to grid like LNC,ARC or CNJ.

The Log isn't specific to area but specific to monster. However, monsters can be specific to an area.

i.e.; you can kill Little Ladybugs in La Noscea on THM and have it count, but you won't find Mirrorknights anywhere but Thanalan.

That said there is literally no benefit to leveling THM in Gridania or some shit. By level 20 you'll be in Thanalan following the main storyline anyway, you only handicap yourself doing this big ass convoluted shit you're doing here.

I mean if you're trying to relive your FFXI-Feels by being a Black Mage from Windurst or some shit, whatever, but it's retarded and you're gimping yourself

The point is though, that the logs we got in p3 were mostly limited to certain areas; gla mobs were *mostly* in Ul'dah, mrd mobs were *mostly* in Limsa. It could converge for the 40-50 log but it's really still not worth it to do for your first class.

I wasn't arguing that the Logs aren't weighted to one region over the other-- they definitely are, but they are not exclusive to it. The majority of the logs are made up of monsters exclusive to an area, but there exist those monsters which can be killed in several regions (normally in the opening Logs)

So best suggestion since i'm going monk path is to lvl LNC to 15 then bother w/ PGL, i'm also going to keep a pocket CNJ for self protect/heals

I'm probably gonna start Arcanist so I can get the sub abilities for whm. Take it to 30 with the story then switch to mrd and finish it off from 30. Then do my last 9 lvls in Botany.

It appears that Amazon is now out of stock as well (again), it certainly wasn't less than a week ago, but I can't speak to yesterday.

yea evidently i got lucky and checked Saturday and they had some in stock. went ahead and per-ordered lol. now im reading they already out of stock, man i dodged the bullet on that one
