If you have preordered and you haven't received your code yet, just cancel the preorder and go somewhere where you know you'll get it.

There are (or were, rather, lol) plenty of online retailers that send the codes immediately after preordering. As far as I'm concerned if you didn't receive the code within hours/days you're not going to get it. Don't risk it and try somewhere else.

Codes are clearly running low though because the amount of bitching about not getting codes is off the charts. Good luck.

I don't know if they still do, but Amazon used to send the codes right away, yes. Can always try it and let us know (they should not charge you). Most of the complaints I've seen have been about Gamestop/Best Buy and random minor retailers.

Preordered PS3 CE game and got a dlc code. When i insert the code to register it, looks like its a "FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (PC)" - Any idea if that works as intended or should it display (PS3) version

Please note that the pre-order bonus codes are different for the Playstation 3 and Windows versions. Also, please be aware that the number of early access codes will be limited and distribution will cease when the limit has been reached.

^ I will be crutching (broke my ankle playing baseball) my way into GameStop this evening to figure something out. I'm coming out of there with a code or a canceled preorder. I don't even see a regular ps3 version on amazon anymore. Good for the game everything is selling so well but life's tough as a non legacy peasant.

If you are registering the code on the SE members site, it really does not matter. Early access registration isnt till the 8th.

If you did order early from SE in your email, you may notice the pre-order code may have a "PC-Download" tag next to it even though you ordered a PS3 version. I will not worry about it.

Code format:
6-3-6-3 in terms of letter and numbers for ps3

Code format itself is the same for both ps3 and pc, in terms of the early access code. I have both. SE did say the codes are different for both pc and ps3 so that may be in terms of the actual code content and not the format .

Just so people can have a heads up: I ordered through Amazon.com, got the code right away.

I want to note, though, amazon allows one code per customer. I had ordered two (one for me and my husband), and only got one code. Had to talk to a rep to find out that ya they limit it. Rep was very helpful though and reduced my order to one copy. Husband will order his own tonight.

I was able to set up payment using my credit union's Visa credit/debit card. No need to bother with Crysta or anything. Or do you mean you don't want to use your credit card (give up your number) at all?

Yea, I just didn't wanna use it again after having my shit locked out on two separate occasions. Too much of a headache.

Just checking, is the preorder early access code the same as the serial number/product code? I received only one code in the 6-3-6-3 format after ordering from SE.
