I physically went to GameStop and they printed me a receipt no problem with an access code. It starts with VAJEYA- however. Looks legit with redemption instructions etc.
Anyone have a link to the whole FAQ think they did on the forums about buying ARR, pre-order, which version for what etc.? Because I have friends asking a lot of questions and I don't remember all the intricacies of this fucked up system![]()
That's awesome thanks :D
I also found the topic I was thinking about, but one of my friends asked a question which I don't see answered anywhere.
Is it possible to add the standard edition key to 1.0 CE account for early access/items? I assumed not, but I'm not 100% sure.
I'm under the impression that you cannot add a second PC code to your 1.0 account. If you have 1.0 CE but your not legacy your boned i think. You have to pre order a ps3 copy for early access.
The bolded part is right, but the rest is wrong. The preorder code and the game registration code (what you refer to as "PC code") are separate.

What is the current speculation for the phase 4 to start? I know nothing official has been announced just curious if the majority thought it will be this upcoming weekend or the weekend before early access
Stop speculating, wait 2 more days when they are supposed to announce it, geez![]()
I personally suspect the 16th in Japan for Phase 4 Beta, which would be the 15th in the US. Early access starting around the 23rd.
I look forward to being wrong in a 100 different ways.
a week is a lot for an early access. Didnt they say it would be just a few days anyways?
Useless speculation!
I'd imagine early release will be 3-4 days. Release is on a Tuesday, so they will probably give us access on the Friday or Saturday before.
If you level scholar to 35 or 40 to play SMN, then you play as summoner to 50. Your Scholar level will automatically go to 50 as well right? Will that also give you a lvl 50 Arcanist?
Yes. You'll still have to do the quests for Class/Job specific abilities though.
Edit: Just to clear things up. Arcanist is the base class from which SMN and SCH branch off. At Lv30 you'll be able to unlock those 2 jobs and whatever EXP you earn on either one will be shared amongst all 3.
I've seen people use the term "spec" from WoW to explain the transition from class to job.
I really hope they change the way job level and class level link. It seems pretty stupid to have all jobs leveling up that are linked to one class. It would be better to have your highest lvl job sync with the class it branches from and every job strting at lvl 30 when unlocked. It would be really stupid to have new jobs come out in expansion packs and automatically be lvl 50, i.e. samurai if it comes off lancer and you have lnc/drg leveled.
Probably been talked about before. Just crossed my mind.
