For some reason, our Hyrstmill is getting neglected. It's about to go into battle mode any minute and it's like halfway to Lv.2... Was the same last time too (we didn't realize and were wondering why it was so damn easy), so we just got the achievements out of the way.
Let me get this straight. You're going to pay $20 for a stupid hat that does nothing but lower the length of weakness when you're Lv10 or lower?
"Upgrade"? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
lol well said
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the account itself does not acknowledge which version you have, they just come with different item codes (which need to be registered before character creation unless they change that for 2.0 with a moogle that can hand you said items).
Standard Edition preorder: Garlond Goggles
Collector's Edition: Onion Helm
1st Run FFXIII: Asuran Armguards
(all of which only have value for levels 1~10.)
Oh yeah, I forgot Hermes Sandals for having XI and XIV accounts active simultaneously. At least those work on any level (30min of movement speed once per day).
No matter what you bought, you could register all 3 items if you can buy/find/trade for unused codes.
I didnt know the stuff only worked until lvl 10. I'm not going to downgrade my wallet. Thanks though.
Herme's shoes were the only promotional item worth anything, and now that chocobos/swiftsong exist they are nearly useless. I guess if you are running around a dungeon solo you could use them.
Wouldn't the mnk af feet be better for fists of wind? Or do they not increase speed?
I mainly fish and gather, so I spiritbond a lot of stuff. Since the last patch I am very rarely getting IVs and a load of IIs (from 41+ gear). Has anyone else noticed this? Perhaps I am just crazy/paranoid/unlucky. Anyway, thought I'd ask the question!
Is there anywhere I can buy a digital copy of this right now? Neither amazon nor the SE site have it available anymore.
Alot of people have noticed the same things (me included) but one of the dev post addressed it stating that Darklight and Tier IV rates were never touched in any of the recent patches. Maybe we can chalk it up to really bad luck with RNG. Thats their official stance so take it how you will.
You know, I've been curious do you have to keep them on to maintain the bonus?
I believe you do yes.
Hmmm, I am not convinced. In my last 50 or so spiritbonds I've got maybe 3-4 decent materias, and it was very different before the last patch. Oh well, time will tell, but I am suspicious!![]()
I got 0 TIV's in my 2nd run yesterday and I SB'd 54 items, lol.
Also, AF feet only need to be on when FoW is used.
0 in my last 20 just now, really do think it was ninja nerfed.
