In the patch notes way back when (1.20 when the damage stats and all that were actually introduced) they were all listed with the secondary stat first and the primary stat second, though not labeled as "primary" and "secondary" (it wasn't until Seiken and co. that we knew this iirc).

I imagine that's where a lot of the confusion comes from.

Fuck it, post Hellfire 3 in Ifrit (Extreme) I use Benediction. This obviously gives me thousands of kaekos of enmity, is there any special trick to not die during this period? I mean, Shroud of Saints is nice for the 90s or w/e but jfc I hate this fight is it just get a better tank / hope he hasn't reset too often before HF3

I have never lost hate to Benediction in that fight. Sounds like a tank problem, either you over-curing or the tank not curing themselves enough/managing enmity to the required level for your group (this can be difficult if people keep changing). Hard to say for sure unless we could see a video with numbers on screen.

Depends also if you have a BRD or not, BRD should probably be tossing out cures as well, we switched out a BRD on extreme and WHM started pulling hate a lot more because the other BRD would cure much more. Just example from past experience ~

Depends on your set up though, as stated by grey shouldn't see a hate pull from a bene post HF3- but unless more info is given it could be a multitude of problems that are causing the hate transfer in the frist place ;/

We've been using a DRG/WAR set up with two WHMs, and I mean I've never tanked the bastard only cured (and my god I hate WHM now) but I wanna give the tank the benefit of the doubt here, could shitty Jumps cause it or should he really be that secure with hate?

^ word, I've completed the fight on BRD and WAR so far, I've filled in for a WHM a few runs while they were away. I can't speak for tank but WHM/BRD defiantly a way higher learning curve than it is for a DPS in this fight.

Its all about counting/micro managing that fight as a healer. Such a bitch compared to the WAR cake walk. Nice stream ~

WHM is fucking awful in that fight, I want to kill myself every time I see that node. Looks like PLD DRG DRG DRG WAR WAR WHM WHM ? so the same set up as us, but you bros also have relix

What are the fish bots going after at Bald Knoll? At first I thought it was herrings because mooglebox said they could be fished up, but discplineoftheland said its school only which makes sense to me since I've only caught them in schools.

I really wondered that myself since the only things worth botting (young indigo herring & navigator's ears) are indeed school-only.

If you're going to bot for exp or Luminary Rod achievements, I think there's far more secluded places to do it than 10 feet away from a camp... I guess they're after Red Coral?

Are Lumis just for showing off? Since it can't be melded I wouldn't be able to hit the 114 output target. I spiritbond hands, belt, wrists, and rings while hitting 115 output and 133 perception. What would be better than that while using a luminary?

I believe most of us that have/want Luminaries are either
1) Hoping they upgrade to something considerably better at some point down the line
or
2) Get it just to show off
