What's the most efficient way for a whm to spiritbond the relic without anyone's help e.g plvl?
WHM is by far and away the easiest relic to spiritbond, can do about 20% an hour solo.
What you're going to want to do is go to U'Ghamaro mines and head to this room that I masterfully circled with my amazing paint skills
Ignore the black lines that say check point and shit those were already there when I found the pic, just go to the room with the red circle.
Once inside this room you'll see 3 mobs in the center, and a line up in the corner. Buff yourself up, and cast Stonera on the second mob in that line, it'll pull all of them except for the lv55 key holder. After that, run back and aggro the 3 in the center and cast Aerora. It'll nearly kill them all, while waiting for Aerora recast just redo your regen/SS then once its up Aerora again and all 8 will be dead. Repeat until finished!
Can throw in a Holy whenever it's up after the first Aerora, will kill all 8 as well.
Edit: Also, this is an amazing PL spot seeing as you can do this pull on any job and just one friend helping on whm can clear the room for you.
Sup, not sure if this been asked, but can't find a answer. Has it been said somewhere that when 2.0 is released will new players have an option to join any of the existing servers? Or will the servers be locked up?
I think they said new players would have that option unless the world was full.
Just to confirm, since the above post says "I think"... Yes, new players can join any non-full server.
Any way to tell if a server is full? For example ragnorak
when do the servers go down?
They've stated that their new server hardware can handle more people, so no server will start out full. How they choose to show whether a server is full in 2.0, no one will be able to answer yet. I think in 1.0 they might have just simply removed the full servers from the list of options? I don't remember exactly.
Character data will be saved at this time: Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at 2 p.m. (PST)
1.0 Servers go for good* on: Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 0:00 a.m. (PST)
*1.0 servers may come back up at a later date (currently unknown), but no progress/data will be saved after the Oct 31st maintenance (2PM~6PM PST).
@fievel thanks a lot for the advice. this beat using battleleves to spiritbond my relic so much easier
Someone humor me.
Bought collectors many moons ago, only plaid for a couple months, and never touched it again.
Final save is 31st, rerelease of 1.0 is Nov11th, and 2.0 final is unknown?
What is the difference between the three versions? The version on the 11th is still the same as 1.0, but will carry over to 2.0 whenever that comes out? But if I hated the original, I probably shoouldnt come back on the 11th since it will still all be the same; should wait until 2.0 whenever that comes out?
Final save of 1.0 is the 31st. No progress is saved after that -- presumably it's some end of the world live event. That ends on the 11th. The original plan was that the servers would shut down at that point, but based in part on player feedback, they will re-open the servers with the (pretty much sole) purpose that folks can continue to chat with each other and keep in touch. Again, at this point nothing is saved, and it's not intended that folks will do events or raids.
2.0 launch is undetermined, but we're probably looking at something like March of next year, subject to change based on how beta testing goes.
So between now and then, theres really no point to be playing?
are there any infos about the beta?
when will it start, who can play, will there be an open beta?
and are the people who play the alpha version (which is running atm I think?) allowed to talk about it / post videos etc?
will the new ff14 2.0 disc cost the same as a "full game" (~50€ here for most pc games) or will it be cheaper?
and last question for now, I bought ff14 and played it a few days long time ago, I still have my account, but i dont have any disc´s anymore, will I be able to free download the 2.0 version somehow or will I have to buy the disc again?
Edit: will there be some kind of friend pass / test pass, anything to invite a friend to test the 2.0 version for a few days?
