using wifi to transfer the video stream pretty much screwed the battery from the start. I bet we will see higher mah batteries within 6 months though and cheap. Luckily it's very easy to swap out and not sealed in. They should do some regenerative braking type setup with the button presses. Mario party would charge it in 10 minutes easy.

I have to wonder, how long does something like a S3 or Iphone last when gaming full tilt and using wifi the entire time? Serious question, I don't bother with smartphones currently as I got no real need for them. I do know what little bit of gaming I could actually do on my poor little firesale HP Touchpad (truly the land of no gaemz) face rapes it's little battery XD

Did no one get warriors orochi lol?

Oh, and anyone who bought a target preorder card, how long does it hold the system for you? Were they full price cards and it gets held indefinitely or like $5 down type deal and they hold it a month or some such? I've heard the online inventory trackers count pre-orders that people haven't picked up so kinda crucial to my target stalking situation.

That is just bad. Overall though, I would agree that very little else looks worse and most looks slightly better than the now year old original. I am not trying to knock on the game, or the system. The recent shots of MH3U have me drooling. I just don't see a huge jump that could be considered clearly walking on the other two consoles. I think they all look very close, the new armor being the exception which clearly looks damn fine and should as it was created specifically for this console right?

Quite a few WiiU games have this problem, I think it'll take developers a while to figure out how to get around it. But for now, it's certainly a problem.

I haven't heard of this occurring elsewhere? Only heard of some pillows randomly appearing/disappearing in COD but thats about it on that front. It looks like it is just the LOD(s) didn't update when they jumped down to the ledge.

Tons of people are just stalking for any tiny glitch and blowing them hugely out of proportion (and conveniently forgetting that glitches exist in the other versions too). That tells me the system is likely to do fine because if the fanboys weren't threatened they wouldn't bother this witch hunt lol. Their PS4 will be their savior until the next year or two later when the new Nintendo comes out (which then PS5 will own it though!) It's a stupid argument because there will always be another one coming out after the next if they stagger like this from now on. >.>

Catwomans face is a good example. Her face is exactly the same, but people are mouth-breathing retards that can't tell the difference between a face with a costume on its side and a bare face. You can take the costume off anyway can you not? I wonder sometimes how they manage to breath daily.

If you want to have some fun take the screenshots (use normal batman costumes obv) and reverse the labels and post them around and see what kind of responses you get.

The "disc being ejected while playing gives an error" thing is vaguely defined too. On the GB stream which is where they keep pulling that image, they purposely pulled the Nintendo Land disc while it was loading at the end of their stream to have the music and after a minute or two it finally tossed the error. Gonna guess in that situation it thought the drive was flaking and couldn't read the disk and kept attempting to seek to no avail and finally said F it shits broke reset it. I haven't seen any other posts about it so I don't know how it handles it if you do it in a less malicious manner.

I'm sure it will have inevitable chugging since apparently they just can't learn to tone things down for a better frame rate, but as long as it isn't WO2 levels in Co-op I'll be a-ok with it.

And fml called an hour in both directions from me all targets and walmarts and nada. Gamestop and BB still closed but I'm not expecting much. Damn people keep referring me to other stores saying they have X amount, but then it just ends up being preorders that assholes haven't picked up yet >:{ Whoever designed their backend needs to be shot in the face. Something pre-ordered is basically sold and shouldn't be in the "available" table of the database. My God, how hard is it for such rich companies to just have a DB that makes sense?

Edit: swing and a miss. one of my two GS's has a 20 deep wait list as well.

Nintendo of America president Fils-Aime has indicated he's hopeful of seeing Rockstar release Grand Theft Auto V on Wii U.

The GTA V release date will fall in spring 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360, and asked this week about the possibility of a GTA game coming to Nintendo's new console, Fils-Aime told MTV: "The folks there have said very nice public comments about the Wii U.

"In the end, it is Nintendo's responsibility to have a large installed base, to have development tools that help the developers and publishers create great content, and essentially create an environment where teams like Rockstar can bring their very best content to our platform, and if we do that hopefully the very best content throughout the entire industry will show up on Wii U."

Questioned recently about the possibility of GTA V appearing on PC and Wii U, Rockstar vice president Dan Houser said everything "is up for consideration".

He added: "The main thing is we are not... we are a third-party publisher. We're not Nintendo, we're not Sony, we're not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market."

I can get about 4-5 hours on my iphone4 playing Rage of Bahamut, and maybe 3 playing a more graphics oriented game.

RO atm is talk to counter zone in, kill mob for 20min win, talk to counter get next quest rinse and repeat

no its the same style but its more enjoyable once you understand the game RO is a very bad rip off of MH if you played it before RO there would have been a good chance you liked that style of game :/

Also, dislike that walls effectively limit the radius for the gamepad. Kept disconnecting while updating when I went to my room to use my computer.

I hope they add all the old virtual console games to the Wii U estore when they launch the WiiU's VC. I don't want to buy the Wii version of something then lose save features or shit when it transfers when the game shows up in the estore...
