Same here, I never owned the other 2 Pikmin games, but I liked them, I might actually get this one.

As for DQX, that's the mmo isn't it? Kinda interested in how they can make it into an mmo, then again they managed to do it with Final Fantasy. There's a monthly fee isn't there? Is it the usual $15'ish /month?

There is a fee but I can't remember what it is off the top of my head. They did do one interesting thing with, each day there is a 2 hour block of time that is f2p, no sub required. Quotan myself from the DQX thread.

The game will be P2P, but with a catch. There will be 2 free hours a day called "Kids' Time", 4-6 PM on weekdays and 1-3 on weekends you can play with out having to pay and at the end of the free time the game will automatically save and then disconnect.

It's an interesting idea, and gives parents a way to let their kids experience the game without breaking the banking and needing paid accounts for everyone in the family. It will also be nice for casuals who just want to play but aren't comfortable with the idea of a monthly subcription

Edit: I'd be surprised if they keep that "Kids Time" block if/when the game ever makes it out of Japan, so I wouldn't count on that.

If you're in the Tuscaloosa area in Alabama. The Walmart there on skyland has 2 deluxe and 1 white Wii U there currently. Not sure for how long though.
