Nintendo of America will host a 3DS and Wii U game-focused Nintendo Direct broadcast tomorrow, February 14, at 6 a.m. Pacific / 9 a.m. Eastern time.

Nintendo of Europe will simultaneously host its own Nintendo Direct at the same time (2 p.m. UK time), which will be focused only on 3DS games.

Those doing the math from November says this means it only sold 55K units last month.

The numbers are confirmed at <60k units during a longer than normal January. Catastophe-mode Nintendo incoming.

Meh it has no games worth buying so no reason for someone to buy a Wii U at this point.

When the games start rolling out, sales will go up, nothing new for consoles. i.e., first 6 months of PS3 was terrible unless you loved some Ridge Racer or Resistance.

The HD space needed for the operating system / other already there stuff does seem to be getting quite a bit larger suddenly. The surface tablets seem to take the cake currently on how much HD is already used out of box.

I am excited to play ZombiU, then there is this week's demo of MH3U. Those alone will tide me over until March 19th at which point I will put enough hours into that one game it will make other games pointless.

Things should ramp up a bit In march at least. Monster Hunter and Lego City but I think ill wait for a price drop on lego city. Then hopefully Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3 will be out in or after April and Bayonetta 2 some time after than. Going to get Injustice for Wii U.

Just so you guys know best buy is doing a buy one get one 50% off that works on pre orders. In tempted to do Lego city and monster hunter even though I don't own a wio u yet.
