The Wind Waker HD is a 2.6GB downloadhttp://www.vg247.com/2013/08/19/the-...6gb-of-memory/Hyrule is a big place, and that’ll be reflected in a 2.6gb memory requirement if you download the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD from the Nintendo eShop.
It’s a fairly modest requirement, especially when compared with most other modern titles. With its new HD polish the game is looking better than ever, so it should be worth every single kilobyte.
It has also been confirmed that the game will render in 1080p, that surround sound is an option, and that you can use a pro-controller if you wish.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD launches worldwide in October.

In comparison, the original GC version was about 1.5GB.

Nintendo has announced a $50 price drop for Wii U. Beginning on September 20, the Wii U Deluxe model will be available for $299.99.
The new price will take effect alongside the previously-confirmed Wind Waker HD bundle, which will also retail for $299.99 and includes a 32GB hard drive, a special Zelda-themed GamePad, a digital copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD and a digital version of the Zelda Hyrule Historia book.
Wish it came with a hard copy of the game. Although I have it for GC, so maybe I should just suck it up..
Nintendo why are you not good enough to release digital and packaged game on same day?

I didn't think they had my money... but they might.
I think it is GameStop exclusive? No other companies are doing pre-order bonuses either.

I really want to buy this as I've never played Windwaker, but there is just nothing else on this system.
As crazy as it sounds I'm seriously considering getting Watch Dogs on WiiU. Depending on how well it's utilized the tablet could be killer for the game.
Miiverse, We Twitter Nowhttp://www.siliconera.com/2013/09/11...-like-twitter/Nintendo’s latest update to their Miiverse social network makes the service very similar to Twitter. The new update went live today, and Nintendo posted a list of the changes via their Miiverse community.
Here’s what the difference is: prior to today, you could only post Miiverse messages in pre-existing communities on Miiverse. Think of each community as a forum thread of sorts. Your message would then show up in the community you posted on and anyone else checking that community would be able to view and reply to your post.
Now, however, you also have the option of posting a message from your “Activity Feed,” which is where the Twitter comparison comes in.
What this means is that you no longer have to post a message in any specific community. You can go to the Activity Feed section of your Miiverse account, post a message, and the only people that will be able to view it are friends and those that follow you, or are checking your profile. In short, think of your Activity Feed as your timeline.
Note that you can, of course, still post messages to specific communities. As per usual, these messages will be viewable by anyone else checking that community.
https://miiverse.nintendo.net/posts/...AADOUgHquocxJwHi it’s Tom at Nintendo.
We updated Miiverse today and here are the list of changes:
-Wii U and web versions
1. You can now post messages from the Activity Feed. The posts you make from the Activity Feed won’t appear in the community, and will only be shown in you, your followers and your friends’ activity feeds, and the list of activities on your profile screen. Note that the posts won’t appear in the Activity Feed of someone who’s not following you.
So for example, from now on post to that software or game’s community messages that you want everyone to see, or post from the Activity Feed if you only want to post a message to your friends or followers.
Posts made from the Activity Feed can be commented and Yeah’d on just like other posts.
2. We moved the Art Academy: SketchPad community from “Wii U Games” to “Other”.
-Wii U version We updated the Miiverse Manual into a Q&A format. If you have any questions about Miiverse, please take a look at the manual by going to User Menu > Setting/Other > Manual on Wii U, and User Menu > Support on web.
-Web version You know those screenshots that appear in posts and comments? We made them larger.
That’s all I have for today.
Thanks!
Just by listening to the review, the guy seemed legit in what was good and bad for the remake
But when I saw the note, I was like Yeah i think Nintendo paid them lol
