I used to play Mario Kart on the wii online a lot lol (until the hackers started taking over the races)
So I picked up the Zelda bundle today!
Suggest some games? I've literally kept up with nothing but Smash. Since the news of Brawl's online being shut down, I pulled the trigger in preparation for the new one lol.
Newer mario is pretty good
Ive Been trying to find the answer to this, with Mario Kart 8 on the horizon i am wondering if, like with Mario Kart Wii you are only be able to play online with a max of 2 players for one console? Not 4 way split screen.
Will be trading in my 360 and some games soon, and if my brothers and friends can have 8 players with 2 consoles, 2 games id be all over putting that towards a Wii U
I've literally played nothing but Monster Hunter since December, 400 hours and going strong
Demo does it very little justice. Part of my infatuation with the series is how much you have to learn as you go, how much control you have over your armor path and weapon trees, etc. In the demo you are just airlifted in against two monsters, one very simple, and one extremely annoying (EFF YOUR FACE PLESSY) and that is it. You get no sense of what the hub town is like, what you might need to grind to get that weapon upgraded to where you want it, what goes into armor creation and skill sets, etc.
The demo shows you the main focus of the game, to kill monsters with your weapons. You get no sense of how fun it is getting to that point to be able to do so however, and no taste of the addiction of upgrade upgrade upgrade! That constant grind to get better and better gear, fighting tougher and tougher monsters, that is the real meat of the game and what either sinks its hooks in or doesn't.
To put it into perspective, the demo has 2 monsters. The full game has over 50, and they all fight and behave differently.
Swords & Soldiers II
http://www.swordsandsoldiers2.com/Sharpen your axe, grab a tankard o' mead, and light up the barbecue! Ronimo Games is proud to announce Swords & Soldiers II is coming as a downloadable game for the WiiU! A sequel to the 2009 original, Swords & Soldiers II sends Redbeard and his gang of burly Vikings on an all-new adventure. He'll be making new friends but also facing new enemies. This isn't just about who can organize the best barbecue party anymore – this time the world needs some serious saving!
More information on the new side-scrolling strategy game will be unveiled at GDC in few weeks. And it will be publicly playable at PAX East!

Mario Golf: World Tour season pass announcedhttp://www.siliconera.com/2014/04/22...c-season-pass/Mario Golf: World Tour is getting downloadable content with a Season Pass, Nintendo announced this morning. The base game will contain 10 courses with 126 holes, but if you want more, you’ll be able to purchase an additional 108 holes as well as new Golfers.
DLC for Mario Golf: World Tour will be released in three separate packs—the Mushroom Pack launching on May 2nd, the Flower Pack launching later in May and the Star Pack launching in June. Each pack will contain two new courses with 18 holes each and a new playable character.
The Mushroom Pack will come with Toadette, the Flower Pack with Nabbit and the Star Pack with Rosalina. Each pack will cost $5.99, but if you want to buy them all, you can grab a Season Pass at a discounted rate of $14.99, starting May 2nd.
Season Pass holders will get access to each pack as it is made available. Additionally, they’ll also get a Gold Mario playable character as a special bonus at the time of purchase. Gold Mario has a special “Golden Flower shot” that gains coins for every yard it travels. If you eventually buy all three DLC packs separately, you’ll get Gold Mario once all three packs have been released.
Additionally, Nintendo say they will offer “trial tournaments” for consumers that are interesting in sampling these DLC courses before deciding to buy them. In order to access these, you’ll need to own the game and download the Trial Pack.
