I never spotted that lol
Yeah, it's confusing as fuck if you're reading a guide for one version of the game but playing the other, as east/west are swapped between the two.
Yeah, apparently they couldn't just flip Link (and I guess the enemies), so they flipped everything. While it's not a perfect translation from OoT to TP, you can see that there were some aspects that were meant to be similar (Gerudo Desert becoming the Haunted Wasteland in the west; Kakariko Village and Death Mountain to the east/north east; etc) which only line up in the GC version.
IIRC, it was because most people are right handed, and Link is left handed, so they basically made Link right handed, so more people could use the motion controls.
Metroid Prime Trilogy is out on Wii U, so I snatched that up real quick since I missed all of them originally. Am I the only one who doesn't like using the wiimote to aim the arm cannon? I just can't get the hang of it, and it's really killing this for me. I only gave it a couple of hours, so maybe I need to just use it more, but so more I'm not enjoying it =(.
I wonder if the GC controller would work since the game was GC first
Not that I can use one with out that super rare or expensive adapter -_-.
Good rpg's I should get for my wii-u? A
If you haven't played Dues Ex yet, get that. Otherwise, afaik theres nothing on Wii U in the way of RPGs.
I am, but locking onto targets keeps perspective on the target but still allows me to move the reticle. I don't know how important hitting specific spots are in this game, but locking onto a target and still missing because the cannon is aiming slightly off is annoying. I turned it off awhile ago, but I didn't double check to make sure there wasn't an option to keep reticle on locked-on target; if there is then I'll be happy.
I have child of light for PC. Fantastic game. I've been trying to get my hands of a xenoblade, but I ain't paying $100+. Maybe $60 tops.
What wii rpg are worth getting.
The Last Story, Xenoblade (obviously), Arc Rise Fantasia, Tales of, Fire Emblem are all I can think of.
I started to reply that Xenoblade shouldn't be as expensive anymore as Gamestop released a ton they had been holding... but then I checked and goddamn, none in a 100 mile radius. I swear I checked about 3-4 months back and nearly every one of my GS stores had copies for sale... crazy.
