went with the new 52 origin with her being a demigod daughter of Zeus. From what I remember Zeus's wife Hera was jealous as hell due to all the kids Zeus had and she made it her mission to kill every one of them including Diana, so they could probably go that direction with a sequel if they wanted.

All in all pretty good movie though I had some issues with a few parts. 7/10 and DCs best offering so far.

I feel asleep during one of the city scenes. Anything outside the action was trying a little too hard for their acting skills and/or chemistry.

Kirk dying hit me in the feels I'll give it to him, but Gal is better in action than drama, and I hope they keep it to a minimum in JL.

Those fight scenes were pretty amazing tbh.

Just watched it and loved it. As a stand alone movie it's fantastic and definitely worth a watch. As a DC super hero movie it's leaps and bounds ahead of everything they've done recently. There's no contest, easily the best recent DC movie.

Professor Lupin being Ares was a bit predictable and they never really showed what happened to Dr Poison or whatever her name is, but outside of those 2 gripes I loved it.

Just got back, I thought it was pretty good. Certainly the best DC movie so far. Most of the fights I thought were pretty cool but goddamn does DC need to stop abusing slow-mo so hard.

The flying knee through the window was pretty dope though. Ares also looked pretty cool.

Gal Gaddot on her own really doesn't do anything for me, but in that black fur cloak thing? Where do I sign up.

Gal Gaddot was super adorable in the movie but I feel most of that charm will be gone in any subsequent movie because a lot had to do with her interacting with society. It was a thoroughly enjoyable movie though. Aside a few minor gripes (but nearly every movie has them), I enjoyed it from start to finish

I feel she'll comfortably fit the Thor mold of optimistic foreigner who plays well against Batman's pessimism and Superman's uncertainty about what role he should play on Earth.

Also I can't stop saying that the Wonder Woman theme is amazing. So I'll say it again.

Meh, they all blend together after awhile. Like the one about the mythical God (who is the child of the ruler of all the gods in their pantheon) that can shoot lightning. They leave home, want to protect humans, and in the end they have to fight their brother.
