Stop trying to mansplain the movie. Girls are tough and funny, get over it.
Dem legs don't need any mansplanation, that's for sure.
Hella late to the party, but glad I didn't pay to see this. X-Men Origins levels of cringe. Gal can't act. Chris Pine literally saved this movie.
Better than BvS and Suicide Squad? Definitely. That's not saying much tho. If this is supposed to be the best DCEU movie so far, oh man...
lol comparing this to xmen origins
That's a bad comparison lol. Watching it live now. It has more obsurd elements than I originally thought would be in a DCU movie. Currently at the part where she's in the trenches.
Her theme music is fucking lit though.

What the fuck movie did you watch.
The only people who would compare Wonder Woman to X-Men Origins in earnest are terrorists.

facts
Was origins the one where deadpool had like every super power? Damn all those wolverine movies were bad lol
I said Origins levels of "cringe". I didn't compare the movie in its entirety to it. Way to take that out of context. BG gonna BG.
Cringy moments being most of the cheesy slow-mo action shots. Destroying the bell tower by jumping in to it. That shit fest of a final battle. The super cringe final shot of her flying towards the screen. Also, Gal's acting alone gave much cringe.
Chris Pine and his crew were funny, the chemistry between him and Diana was fine. No man's land scene was nice. Just took a huge nose dive at the end for me. I also fell asleep thru the overly long exposition at the beginning.
I will say that she genuinely did give a shit about saving people. Step up from the rest of the DCEU chaos.

Your definition of cringe is completely wrong and you are a wrong-faced person.
This action movie has SLO-MO ACTION SHOTS and this hero with super strength CAN DESTROY PHYSICAL OBJECTS
*CRINGE*
So you wanted a regular movie about a regular person and were disappointed. Gotcha.
Guess you've never seen Winter Soldier? Iron Man? Civil War? Dark Knight Rises? Action packed superhero movies that didn't rely on cheesy slow-mo shots to pull off superb fighting scenes?
It just killed those scenes for me in this movie. If that's your thing that's cool, but it was just so overdone and I felt those scenes, especially the first big action scene, would've been way better without them.
I guess the word for the action scenes I was looking for was cheesy. Guess my expectations are just too high? I truly did cringe at Gal's acting tho.
